Bug report: After sell out, my tank is still full of squids that produce ink at full capacity even though i didn't adopted one yet. After i adopt, i have double everything in my tank. Not sure i explained properly so here is a screen right after sell out. https://screenshots.firefox.com/TAlY2a2lxQaaDp12/www.kongregate.com Also, i got all achievements again even though i had them already
"Is there anything you wish me to have focus on for the next update?"
Yes, a bloody save option. Every time i log in i have to start from scratch. Kind of a game killer
Instructions are useless. Bought 2 workers, long clicked my item but i see no + sign in automation section. Looks like a good game but i still need to "click that and see what happens". Zero intuitive
Aaand again save lost. Last time you asked me to give you a bug report but i have no idea how to do that. Regarding your other questions tho, i'm not logging in using any button. I just bookmarked the link in firefox 48.0.2, as i do with all the games i play, and start it from there. It then automatically logs in.
Thanks for the information. You can submit a bugreport by clicking 'Bug' below the game. I've found and fixed multiple bugs that could have caused this, but it's hard to say if they were the cause for your bug. Sadly I can't see any pattern why this happened multiple times to you, while most players aren't affected. Do you lose your whole progress (set back to level 1) or "only" the progress of your last session?
Can you please make a bug report with some additional information. Especially interesting would be, if you were already logged in when you started the game or if not, which login button you used.
Great game, great design. But... There's nothing "new" when you evo. Nothing new to unlock, nothing new to research. Just bigger numbers. Which makes the game very boring very fast. Research trees should be unlocked by evolution levels / paths. That way you would actually play with a purpose. The way it is now, you can only breed intelligence and be done with the game in less than 1 day. For the moment 3/5
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Unlocking more research by different evolution paths is a neat idea ... It would be fun if there were another major unlockable feature later into the game. If anyone has ideas / suggestions feel free to post them on https://www.reddit.com/r/SlurpyDerpy !
can't even call this a game. i don't understand why you people keep publishing these. no click upgrades, basically no miners, no multiplier, no achievements, no save. kongregate should add some filters against these kind of stuff.
Hey Alex. I know that at this stage it is a pretty small game. Click updates is something that is coming soon, as well as other upgrades as well. But there is a save feature. Since there is not a lot of content right now, there is also no achievements. And to have kongregate achievements the game needs more virality == more players. I was uploading it this early to get familiar with Kongregate publishing and their API since there is now good way of testing it outside the kongregate context. I also wanted to involve player feedback for the development process as early as possible to see what the community wants the most. I get your point that in doing so (and many others as well) this kinds of ruins the quality of the games at kongregate. I would like to have liek a "Early Access" banner like Steam does it to let people know what they can expect. Thanks for your feedback!
It gets boring quite fast for my taste, and I love idle incremental games. Waaay too slow once you pass map one. I get it tho, we got used these days with cash hungry coders. And as every other pay-to-play game, this one also have an option to make the game playable: you can buy the +4 extra ticks. Also, this game is not idle, as it does nothing when you're off except for gather extra ticks. You then have to.. basically wait 1-2 hours for it to finish and only THEN you can resume your work. Which, again, adds to the "boredom" factor.
TLDR: awesome game, great features but the game is only playable if you buy the +4 extra ticks.
This game should be used as an example for all the wannabe coders out there, called: How NOT to build a game. Also an example on why you should play / test your game before you release it.
1. All upgrades on helpers are stuck to level 161. Once you reach that it is impossible to get any more because the price goes through the roof.
2. Basically all the helpers have the same power, the only difference being in time. Useless.
3. All upgrades stops at level 8. Once you reach it, if you click again it takes your money but with no influence in game.
4. Reaching lvl 161 in helpers and lvl 8 in upgrades can be done in like 2 minutes. After that you can close the game and find a new one since this one is done.
To resume in one sentence: complete waste of time. At least not too much time...
