god i spent so much time getting 9 fields but im gonna quit... the price of the 10th is SO high and i'm making as much money as i can as fast as i can and its clearly still gonna take yeeeaaarrrsss and there are already gravestones packed like sardines from the house to the barn and my hand hurts from pressing the same keys over and over. good game, too long.
I see people asking if the ending can be avoided- I think that's a no. I definitely landed a bunch of shots, he doesn't seem to take damage. It would ruin the drama of it all, anyway.
I'm a big fan of this game and I've replayed it a few times. The ending upsets me. If I can work through depression for the benefit of occasional moments of happiness, I'd like Exadi to at least give it a try... Maybe that's why her dad left the emotional core on, even though it was flawed.
I dunno. Great game.
I love this game and come back to it often. One problem though is the quit button is right behind the button that closes the market or research windows. Today I accidentally double-clicked and lost like an hour of sandbox progress. :( Honestly, the quit button is completely unnecessary because it doesn't go back to the main menu, so just deleting it would solve this...
there's a problem here where if you lose a fight early on (like if it takes you a minute to find the best way to use a certain troop), then that troop is underleveled forever. basically if the same troop loses more than one fight, it becomes useless and can never win again. harsh.
taking items that "can be traded in a specific market to guarantee a haggle moment" to every market gets pretty annoying, especially because you can't tell if you've found the right market for it or if you got a haggle moment by coincidence. Does that really need to be a secret? I think the item descriptions should say which market they work in.
this is so charming. feels like the different sprinklers & vortexes should highlight the crop they're working on in different colors, as opposed to them all using that white box? it would make it easier to tell what's attached to what when you've got stuff next to each other
this has become my favorite game lately because, for reasons i can't put my finger on, i find it so engaging that i can't be anxious while i play. i'm comparing gear, doing a cost-benefit analysis of fighting a troll versus the treasure behind him, and remembering what all the ingredients do- there's just no room left in my brain to worry about inane things. it's fun and relaxing, thanks for making it. (hope you read your comments! <3)
i see the update says the 'out of memory' issue was fixed but i did get a popup that said exactly that (after finishing just the second level) so that may need some more fixing
I actually sort of wish this was Less game. Specifically, unlocking levels and losing points for being hit with powerful words kind of breaks my immersion in the story- i find this a really nice way to read. Maybe a zen mode?
how do i turn the music off? not that i don't like your music, but i should always be able to turn the music off. i wanna listen to other stuff in the background.
