The lag on this game has gotten to be unbearable. The doggo quest has been bugged for two years apparently and I can make no progress because the dog won't follow. Apparently there are workarounds which involve doing the quest over and over, resetting, leaving the area and coming back, redoing the quest, again leaving and returning to the area...it's insane.
OMGoodness pixel jumping on tiny platforms, you can't tell from the graphics what effect your actions are having, it goes randomly dark with some characters for a few moments, and even the graphics on what might be a health meter (???) are rendered so faintly it just looks like dancing red pixels. Maybe there's a heart. Can't tell. Concept seems cool altho I'm missing the part about it being fun. Something about attempting a platform jump 10 times before succeeding just makes the experience "fall short" on that :P Maybe it's my browser.
game did not auto save. Upon retreating to a previously cleared level, game screen went dark and did not return. Upon a browser refresh, the game did not have any save file.
In Chrome, puzzles don't appear to auto advance. once solved, you have to select "Reset Puzzle" which is counter-intuitive. I would think that command would start the puzzle over again and instead, the puzzles would auto advance once solved. Just a thought.
Better checkpoints needed in levels. shouldn't have to go all the way back to the beginning when you are quite a pace inward. It makes any game a grind instead of fun. The comment about the game being stolen dates 10 years back so at this point if it isn't fixed I reckon the developer has moved on to other things.
Dear Dev: During the past week the game has started to repeatedly eat saves, erase progress, show new and frustrating bugs that should be tested and fixed. I'd be happy to playtest for you, for a reference. I hold an ISTQB Foundation level testing certificate.
Would it be possible to allow skill levels learned while a skill is locked to count toward level mastery if and when that skill becomes unlocked? I've seen quite a few locked skills advancing during various activities, only the skill experience does not count toward leveling up the skill, apparently due to it being concurrently locked.
I'm in FF on a Mac. Post update I see numerous new features including new dungeons, such as Rithel. After entering this dungeon, if I flee and re-enter, the progress in the dungeon stays the same. If I enter a different dungeon and then return, all progress is lost. This appears to be the case with a few other locations such as The Great Bog, Under Den, The Unstable Spire. This reduces the level of fun in the game, since you'll have to grind through a single dungeon in order to complete it, without in-between entering any other dungeons, it would seem.
On Safari and Chrome, after the first song, this just goes into an infinite beach and cloud scene with no way to get to the next song for me. ESC does not work in this case to return to the menu.
Really like the game. certain gameplay aspects are frustrating. Four shotgun bullets for $65?? Not being able to go back to the store bc the elevator broke? Going through a level without a weapon because you didn't have enough cash? Each level the guns get more expensive, so I'm running through most of this game with...what looks like a can opener.
Would be helpful to have some form of save mechanism. It isn't always feasible to sit and spend a full session on puzzles. Seeing no save function, I thought the program would autosave and my progress would be available on a second visit. That turns out to be not the case.
Game doesn't save progress if you happen to click back to the main menu. Game claims progress is saved after completing each level. So why then after killing 121 zombies in an earlier session do I not have a continue option? I won't be spending more time to get the badge of the day. Does Kongregate playtest games before badging them?
Game doesn't seem to save (for me) on Kongregate, using Chrome on a Mac. I've tried using the "Save & Quit" command under options and then reloading the page (that command highlights, but offers no confirmation message, and doesn't quit the game) Upon reload, the "Continue" option from main menu is not selectable. “¯\_(ツ)_/¯“ Has anyone encountered this and been able to resolve it? The game looks fun and I'd play if progress could be saved. Constructive suggestions welcome.
