I can't get past level 30. It's not because I don't know HOW to get past the level, it's just that the game's ridiculously finicky win conditions make it nigh-impossible to get past it. I have tried it half a dozen times, doing the exact same positioning of stencils, each time getting a result which is almost identical to the picture on the right. Still, I can only get as much as 75%. It's not a bad game, but the requirements for the later levels need to be toned down. Until then, it gets a 3.
The one time an actually GOOD shooter game comes out, which is remotely challenging unlike shooters such as Frantic, people rate it low because "IT'S TOO HARD WAAAAH". Stop sucking at video games.
The difference between this game and Moneyseize is that Moneyseize is an awesome game with good controls, while this is a horrible game with terrible controls.
It's pretty funny how people are saying that this game is a copy of meatboy, considering that meatboy is a copy of jumper, and jumper was made by the same guy who made this game.
To hit the boss, you need to attack him in the air, while he's jumping down. It may take a few tries, but he only has like 4 or 5 health. Every time you land a hit, it'll say so in the top-right corner of the screen, so you can tell when you're damaging him.
Awesome game! The variety of enemies is great, and the fact that you can't swing your sword while moving (and the lag associated with attacking) means that you can't just blindly click the mouse while running around. You need to use strategy and planning depending on the situation, and the plethora of awards gives this game amazing replay value. The rewards add another level of depth to the game, especially when you reach the point when you can take more than one reward with you. The bestiary and the author's comments on the awards you've won are a nice touch, and although this game's graphics could be improved, it has a wide variety of music to acompany it. Overall, this is one of the most entertaining games i've played in a while. 5/5
This game is atrocious. If there's more than 1 enemy on the screen, you're screwed. Even when fighting 1-on-1, the outcome is based on pure luck, and will usually result in you losing half of your life. It's full of glithces, and the first and third bosses (I can't stand the game enough to get any further than that) are broken. The only way to win is to spam your kick on them, hoping to god that your foot doesn't glitch through their torso. This game had potential, but was executed terribly. 1/5
I just wanted to let you know: If you think you SHOULD have gotten a perfect but got a gold instead, it's probably either because
(A). you let go of a chord (a,s,d) too early
or
(B). you accidentally pressed an arrow/chord at the wrong time.
These are hard to notice because they don't lower your combo multiplier, but they DO subtract points, which can just slightly put you behind the required perfect score.
