@Madness412: the gas produced by the electrolysis of water; that is, hydrogen gas. Electrifying H2O rips the polar molecule apart, resulting in the following reaction: 2H2O -> 4H + O2. In short, you are producing a flammable gas. Hold fire to it, it explodes. It is identical to the 'gas' particle.
This game is brilliant. Definitely the most in-depth and well-thought-out sands game I've ever played. I never would have thought of the the H2O > H2 + O electrolysis... Acid and metal producing electricity, the temperature system, bravo. Above and beyond, on the part of the developer. I have a new favorite falling sands game.
Does anyone else notice that the odds of passing a science mission even when the success rate is 98% seems to approach zero? I have failed seven out of ten tries, with success rates between 94-99% I love the game, this just seems to be my bane...
