This game several times moved me to tears. I had been wondering where the dreams of my childhood went - where the simple wonder and beauty of the strangeness of the world had gone. Here, I found it again. I cannot thank you enough.

This is a remarkable way to understand ADD. When we function well, it isn't by concentrating on one thing; it's by making connections between the many things we flit between.

An excellent game, really amazing mechanic, but without a compelling premise I just didn't feel like finishing. Guy wants to go through doors... okay. Since I have no emotional investment in him, he can go do that without me. I know games aren't all about emotional investment, and this is a FANTASTIC game regarding gameplay. But this is just me saying how it could have been made even better for me. I'm sure there are some people who only would have been pissed off by more story, and that's cool, too.

This is an invitation to thought, which changes the experience. It wasn't mindblowing for me, as the story was a little more "tell" than "show," but it's an interesting experience.

Stage 3 of mourning: bargaining. Maybe if I go to the underworld and kill a bunch of snakes and spiders and shoot cerberus in the ass and spit in Hades' eye and get her soul from Charon and don't look back at her DEAD spirit as I leave the underworld no matter what I do, she won't be nothing but a corpse any longer. Unfortunately, that doesn't work. Just a dream. ... but right now, I am just so irritated by the gameplay that I don't want to rate this. I wish there was an option to make it a little slower. This was an excercise in frustration for me, and not worth the story, although it was a good use of the medium for storytelling.

For me, the idea that this is a commentary on a certain social phenomenon which has existed for thousands of years is hit-you-on-the-head obvious, but what's interesting is that it remains ambiguous no matter what path you take. This isn't just a game about exploring alternatives - this is a game which helped me better understand myself. I found I preferred a certain way to play based on the sort of responses I was getting... and that disturbed me very much. I wonder how you will feel about what you find out about YOU?
