I don't know why I'm still playing this game. There are serious balance issues trying to go from managers in the Quadrillions, to the Quintillions. After my last reset and purchase I was at 831 Quad, now 600+ in game years later I am at 55 Quint, and have earned $680 Octillion over that time. Over 95% of this reset has been checking in about once a day to see if I can afford a building that will be helpful to me. I am about $3 Nonillion from my next achievement, earning under $180 Septillion/month. I would gain under 15% multiplier for resetting(currently 660%, and rest would put me to 790%). I am literally weeks away from doing anything that would allow me to start buying the brokers that cost in the Quintillions, about the same from getting the last 30 duplexes that would push me to 500/all properties. When I am looking at multiple in game millenia per reset, with very little activity in between, that seems like terrible balance.
I see a lot of potential in the game. I really like the styling and the music. I feel like the game didn't really deliver a lot of the information I was looking for. It would be really nice to have a tooltip that shows what you're getting with each upgrade, so you can figure out where to spend your money. It would also be nice to have a way to get to the power button with out needing the keyboard. Having a small menu or permanent power button would probably be more aesthetically pleasing than keeping the power and mute open all the time in the center of the screen. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing your updates.
Thankyou, I've added a little more info on the machines regarding how much they will make per second (Update should be up tomorrow), I'll move the power button to a fixed location also. As for having the menu permanently open isn't how I intended it to be used (Sorry for confusion), at 150 workers you can buy furnaces which will keep the power on automatically. I appreciate the input and will cater to them, Cheers
Has anyone figured out where to find Socks? I've done all the quests in Pandaria, and spent a few hours grinding in each location. I've done the dungeon quite a few times. Anyone who can help me find him would be appreciated.
I've really enjoyed your game off and on over the years, and hope you are able to get your visual content back where you want it to be. In the short term, I recommend adding text based icons, to at least give us something visual to key on. You could use single characters for all of the actions and modes, with maybe W for (World) Map and "+" for more options. It would also really help for ordering talents in the short term. I'm sure there are some talents that share intitials, but having at least something visual would be really helpful as a temporary measure.
I agree with some of the other comments. This game makes some nice additions to the standard Bullet Hell style shooter. The Focus mechanic is fun and interesting. The boss location indicator at the bottom of the screen is very useful. The plot doesn't do much for me, but it's not a plot driven game. You may want to consider experimenting with different art styles as well. I tend to prefer art that borders more on the cartoonish side. It's harder to dip into the uncanny valley when things are just a little off. Another comment mentioned the idea of doing it as a ship based shooter, which might work well too.
