They should add an explanation at the start to give you more information about ancients, gilded hero's etc. Everyone needs to figure it out themselves or ask people in the chat.

You can get the easy badge very quickly if you follow these steps; 1) Choose Karl as your starter character. You can skip the tutorial if you want. 2) Go to the city of Torburg.(You start right beside it.) 3) Click on the city hall and then click "Try to capture this town". 4) Just let them kill you and you will recieve the badge.
