All luck and no skill. Level Select screen too hard to get to, menus poorly laid out. Different types of bubbles are essentially identical and the many different types add nothing to the game. The coin machine adds nothing to the game. Some of the powerups, when purchased, make the earlier levels harder to get three stars on. Played through the entire thing and tried to like it, but I just got frustrated by the repetitive and uncreative gameplay. It's sad when a sequel is worse than it's predecessor, but that's exactly what happened here.
I love the game, but some constructive criticism to make it even better: The 'play count' tally at the top of the player page doesn't seem to work if you play the same song on repeat; viewing the bio for extra experience is possible to do many times per song (is this intentional?); The 'next' and 'previous' buttons don't seem to do anything (mute and pause work fine); changing the search type causes the song to stop playing; The new quest counter (how long until you get a new quest) is broken, it jumps from 15 seconds to 300 seconds.
Is it supposed to be possible to 'view a bio for ten seconds' multiple times during the same song in order to get more experience? It feels like I'm cheating.
The glitches in the sound (mute button doesn't mute everything) the loading (Must load each number in order on the title screen even if fully loaded) and the lag and choppiness even on low settings really detract from the game. In addition, it's not complex enough at all. Just train until you have max stats and then win the race... 2/5
Way too buggy. Shouldn't have been released yet. Did anyone even check the timers of the intro? Did anyone check the grammar? As of right now, the game is all but unplayable.
I'm sorry, but this game is too unoriginal to give it a five. I mean, really? Come on! A generic threesome adventure team tracks down and kills monsters in forests in caves, you couldn't even change the names of the slimes from the Dragon Quest/Warrior series... even the title is derived from Final Fantasy! Just a pretty package of everything that's been done before. I will say one good thing though, the different skins for monsters and quotes by the characters in battle is nice. 2/5. Be more original next time to get my support.
