I don't want to switch off private browsing. And somehow I feel i shouldn't have to. Lot's of other game require a lot of ressources, but they allow you to play even if you don't change your browser preferences...
The game is optimised to use local flash storage to keep graphics, user settings etc. We could allow playing with private browsing on, but we feel that could result im some poor experience for players.
Please ! Add an option for azerty keybord ! It's great to make a game in seven different language, but it is far more important to propose alternate keybord. Most french keybord are azerty and maybe it's also the case in other country.
Great game, but it would be even better if when selecting multiple squad to leave a fort, they'll keep a formation which make sense : fantassin first, then firing units, then artillery, and finally cavalery. (that way, your behind lines are protected by a melee unit, and when attacking, cavalery charge strike the ennemy at the same time than the fantassin for maximum damage)
To beat the bersekers, use a unit with lot's of hp, and behind lot's of ranged units...
Or if it's too expensive, use some assassin, and pray for they instant kill ability to activate.
You've done the basics, now it's time to improve your game by adding more stuff. Check the comments of robertt223 and Kitswulf. It's a long time no space invaders like reach the "hot new games" categorie on kongregate. Work a little more and maybe you'll reach it !
Also you should improve the speed of the player a little (say like 5% percent more), having a hero who move at slow speed generally makes games look boring. And mouse control could be nice too.
10 clicks later, still reading the tutorial and not playing...
Other card games put you in the action right in the beginning and explain how to edit your deck and so on after your first (sometimes second or third) battle. You should do the same here.
It seems that the powers card invoquing creatures are all buggy : each time I summon a creature with a power, I get unable to play more cards (and I have enough remaining focus), the mouse-over information stop working on cards, and even worse, I can push the button "attacks", so I have to wait for timeout till the fights end...
What ?!? I have to install an evil microsoft plugin to play and it's not compatible with linux ?
Newt time dev, try to think more platform independent... I play flash games on my browser because it don't care on which OS I run my laptop.
"Evil Microsoft plugin"? A bit too dramatic maybe? Silverlight is a great platform for game developing - without it, this game wouldn't have happened. Certainly not with Flash. It's a shame Linux users got excluded, but we couldn't have anticipated that MS would drop the ball on this.
