gotta be honest here, with all the rebalancing and all i feel like you would be best of letting this stay as is, take time and feedback to really balance out the game aswell as fine tune the interface and relaunch it when you're done. right now it feels like you just swing from one extreme to the other while trying to put out a burning forest.
This could be a really nice game, and i really hope that no matter what you do in the end you get the problems it has sorted out, but as it stands right now the balance is in shambles and moving up in layers feels more like a chore than a reward
Rated the game 5 Stars before even starting, went throught the first set of Dialogue between Amber and Aurum, wanted to Raise you to 6 stars.... your Games are Awesome
Honestly think this is the best one yet, not for the gameplay or the jokes (jokes are awesome and the small gameplay tweaks you do every new entry are pretty hit or miss for me but overall a good thing) but for the story. I mean that in a "damn, when i started your series i waited for the next entries for the gameplay, but right now i really want to know how this whole thing wraps up" kinda way, it's really getting interesting (aside from beeing fun as hell) and the realization that the little orphan was the captain hit me in the feels, hard
I am glad people are liking the approach I took. Its actually hard making everything connect without confusing the gamers too much nor without making the explanation too long or boring. Thansk for playing. :D
probably not much you can do about it at this point but your fix killed my save, i saved in the room with the orbs (i'm slipping, yeay) stopped playing yesterday (save was working fine, could reload without problems) and today trying to reload i had basically the "im slipping" bug on reload, respawning at the start of the mirror world without a character
didn't want to post it like that, seems i took some text command shortcuts.... long story short, seems like Basic mpl multiplyer from attacks first kicks in after you upgraded basic MPL at least once after a reset which seems Conterintuitive
Possible Bug?/not really thought this through ->it seems the "+X to basic MPL multiplyer" from attacks first starts to kick in after your first promotion or rather after you first promoted "Basic MPL". Don't know if this is intentional, or i'm overlooking something but it feels kinda stupid, i'm at level 15 and when i raise my Base mpl from 1->1,01 i suddenly have 15 times the multiplyer i had before (which was just the basic 1 per cycle) which makes the first promotion after a reset take way to long compared to anything afterwards.
@PrinceLKlar you have to activate gems manually anyways, so resetting alone doesn't make it any easier/harder, what i did was simply doing it completly by clicking after a soft reset, could just click 1337 times before buying anything, or even easier click enough times to buy the upgrade so you get 5 per click and then make sure that your gold ends on 2/7 after you bought that /click away till 1337 .
@DonGandon later in the game you will regain so much mana you can combine different angelic spells (which stack) for a ton of income, like call too arms+God's hand /tax Collection 2-3-xxxx times during both buffs active. tax Collection while producing 10/50/100+ times what you would normally produce sure as hell beats just using a single skill
i mostly like the game, however i feel like depending on your luck it can either be pretty doable or incredibly/impossibly? hard. the fact that the enemies change every 10 leves and the floors are randomish can mean that on floor 39 you got a straight way to the exit and at 38 you get a weapon/shield easily. alternativly you can be unlucky and get every worthwile upgrade locked behind nearly impossible enemies which can get more than just hard :/
this game is awesome, the gameplay while not perfect is really good and the dialogue is just great. however, and this is NOT a rant, is it just me, or does the story feel a lot like pirates of the carribien 3 set in space ?^^ don't get me wrong, i love it, just got this feeling so i gotta ask if i'm the only one ^^
