All you really need to worry about is getting Defence and Reproduction as high as you can, Strength is good too, but don't use anything that gives a minus in Defence or Reproduction.

I spent a good 45 minutes on level 36 trying to beat it with one shot, because I didn't see that I could use two shots. Fml

Love this game.
