I found this game to be truly amazing. No, not game, this is a story. I keep trying to find words to summarize it, to tell how I feel abot it, but I've never been very good at that. I guess I can say I feel enlightened by the knowledge and concepts put into this story, and I feel sorry for the people that would play this and say it's stupid. Not because they don't find it plausible or because they don't agree with the logic orthey're offeneded. I feel sorry for the people who say this is stupid simply out of arrogance because they don't understand this or because they can't even comprehend the beauty behind this. 5/5 It is truly amazing. I've played Gregory Weir's games before, and I'm npt surprised to find out that he helped to make this masterpiece.
I'm going to get my starting character to have 10 skill in combat, building, scavenging, science, and leadership... then name him Chuck Norris, like a boss!
On the 200 and 1st day of Zombuscus City, which has expanded to all 100 bloack, created a constitution, ended the battle with the Judgement Gang, and fixed the helicopter all at the same time on seriously hard difficulty. LIKE A BOSS! (I'm probably the 17,463rd person to do that...)
Me: You know what, I'm gonna save the whole city instead of just 30. (3 hours and 0 saves later) Zombuscus City has survived over 100 days and is over 40 blocks large. (lost internet connection) NOOO!!! (10 minutes later) THANK GOD FOR AUTOSAVE!!!
Sorry to post multiple comments, but a great thing to do while playing this game is to mute the sound and music. Then open another tab with the 28 Days/Weeks Later theme music playing. Can't wait for Rebuild 3!
I really enjoy this game; I can never go a turn completely thinking strategically nor do I ever not think things through. The random factors like the "Church of the Chosen", occasional food spoils, the trader and the Riff, and the unfortunate events where your top soldier or builder hides his/her zombie bite until they think they can't last another day without turning really add to the replayability. I loved the challenge of beating the game on seriously hard, but screw impossible, I'm not Tom Cruise.
The ever-repeating sounds get annoying, headshots do nothing, and I just stood there shooting nothing until I died just so I didnt have to play it any longer.
LOVED playing this game! I coudnt pull myself away from the computer until I beat it... okay maybe I got up to grab another pop, details. The combat and customization on equipment gave the game a Dragon Age feel that I know and love. There's is definately good replayability considering that some of the most powerful armor and weapons you get cant be worn unless you importe your character (or if you put EVERY point in strength/agility/magic). I never noticed any glitches in the game, keep up the good work and get out chapter 2 ASAP!
It looks like a great game...except for the fact that every 3 seconds I get stuck looking in the same direction, and I cant stop running straight down. But other than not being able to play it at all I REALLY enjoyed the game.
Once again I am astounded by Gregory Weir. This game has completely, wholly, and perfectly mixed my two most favorite hobbies. Video games, and reading. The way the words in the background form around the storyline, it just makes the story just that more amazing. My most favorite was, quite obviously if you had played the game, The Nameless City. The story is fascinating, always constantly making you go on to discover what happens, and the challenges of the cliffs and the power words were great, and yet they were absolutely nothing compared to my will to read on. I've said it before, I'll say it again, and I'll say it many more times in the future. I have, once again, been astounded by another one of Gregory Weirs masterpieces. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, and 1,000 out of 1,000.
this game is a very fun game, 5/5, 10/10, 999/999, the one and only bug i have noticed is that the boss can be battled at any time, whether you beat the dragons or not, and i have also noticed that the dragons are much more powerful than the boss (Fire Dragon ftw(bottom right area))
Awesome game, I love how challenging this game is, but I noticed that there is a bug where most of the time you automatically get the speed time star even if you take too long.
