And by year, mind you, I mean ingame year. Took me about.... 3 RL months to trans one skill, and I'm working on transing another right now.

Hey, Judas? I play casually and I've transed a skill. If you know what you're doing and how to quest, and where all the good quests are, it's not hard to make 10-20 credits a year playing casually.

Finally connected, was right. 3/5. Not the best I've played, but it's fun.

How can a game that was made 11 years ago copy a game that was made about 1 or 2 years ago? Grow a brain.

Achaea blows away WoW and RuneScape. I've played them both, and I find that Achaea is a better RPG. Note: RPG. Role Playing Game. Emphasis on that.

Of course it will, AcidSeahorse. Remember, these games require an intelligence level above that of your average highschooler. Great gods above, how the educational system has failed.

It's Meatwad backwards. Meatwad- Dawtaem. Doesn't fly. No copyrighted names. If you come up with a stupid name, expect to be asked to change it. Rootattack, Idontknowyou, Rockypowered... those don't fly. Tynil, Wyd, Celeris, Amunet, these do. Those're also taken, so don't try them. So's Andvili, for the record, it's mine. Keep this in mind when you're thinking about your character name.

For those that 'can't move', try the following: W, N, E, S, SE, SW, NE, NW, UP, D, IN, OUT. That's how you move. Don't 'go W', just W.

Hey, all those level 1s coming from other places are coming -here- to play -this Flash client-. To check it out, you know, and see how it compares to the Nexus client. Don't be silly and think they're bots.

In the two years I've been playing Achaea, I've seen two Gods born, three or four return from dormancy, been a pretty big help in a lot of fights, fought in a war, got kicked out of a Divine Order, changed class, changed cities, had kids, had -grandkids-.... this game is really immersive. I can't wait to see what happens to me as my current, newer character.

You don't have to spend a RL cent to get the full content of these games, actually. If you want to take the easy road and get artefacts and credits for lessons, sure, you can empty your credit card. Many people have done just that without spending an RL cent, though... keep that in mind.

Try entering HELP 1. Or HELP 2. Or HELP 3. Don't expect everything to be served to you on a silver platter, you've got ask around and you've got to work for some things, just like you do in real life.

You've always got that option with IRE games. The main site has a Java client, called Nexus, that works very well.

Once again, you can get titled in the game by a House/Guild/City leader so that you have a surname. All abilities in the game are targeted to your character's first name. Pick an appropriate first name, and you'll have no issues. Names like Legionlegion, Stupidhead, Rootattack, Darkqueen.... they don't work. Yes, people tried those. Names like Goryllin, Metzger, Silas, Rho, Murg, Delphinus, Estach... those work. Those names happen to be taken, so don't try them. Also, in Achaea, you can join an established bloodline like the Lighthawks, Alexandrians, or Aristata (to name a few) or you can start your own by asking someone to suffix you with your own surname.

Keep in mind, if you have trouble, drop IronRealms a note and go to the main site of the game you want to play. They're not going to know about any problems with the various things unless you tell them.

Yeah, good point AcidSeahorse. I've also noticed that on this site, if it requires effort, people won't do it. Ahh well. Still a 5/5 from me.
