The ability to pause an item's production without having to go into its popup (Shift+Click on the item, maybe?) would make it much easier to manage production chains for expeditions.
Also, it'd be nice if the little crosshair symbols that indicate which items are required for expeditions could change color when you have enough of them.
The crosshair symbol is intended to be a compass. :)
But yes, it is on my list to change the color. I have to see if this is still needed with an upcoming expedition change.
I'm not sure if it's really needed to have a shortcut to stop production. There is at least a way to start a paused production again, by clicking the small ! icon.
I would really love some kind of party system. That's probably an ambitious suggestion, but I would love it if I could put five heroes in a party and send the party on a quest, rather than individually selecting every member every time. Especially if I could name the parties, so I could quickly and easily distinguish between my gold farming parties and my magic find parties.
Hm...Some kind of weapon order quest system would be neat. Someone comes in and asks for a certain kind of weapon for a big cash bonus? As it is, I see no reason to ever use the previous levels of enchantment, material, etc.
Making some lovely wool padlocks over here! Might not be sturdy, but they're cheap! They'll (probably) even keep small animals out!
By the way, I generally go by Anexes Stormlord, but I can only fit 8 characters. There seems to be plenty of space up where it says my name, could it be raised to like 16 characters? I think that should fit most names, real or invented. The longest last name I can think of at the moment is McConaughey and that's only 11.
I would really appreciate it if there were an option to use simpler graphics. Even just simple rectangles for buttons would really improve playability for me. As it is, there's too much beveling/shading for me to understand what's going on. Something like the original Idle Blacksmith would be great.
I played this a while ago and just came back, so I don't know what decisions were made or why in the development since then. Please excuse me if I sound ignorant. The goblin ability that increases production based on buyMAX witch conclave is not only convoluted, but it seems superfluous. The buyMAX value of the witch conclave is based solely on how much money you have and the price function for the conclaves. Would it not be better to just use the same function and base it on your current gold? It should produce the same result and would be much easier to understand. I believe that's how it was before, so I assume there was a reason to change it, but I can't imagine what that reason is.
So I've noticed all the extra pathways that seem to branch off of various levels (the path to the East in the dead forest and the one to the North in the path to eternity.) Are we ever going to be able to explore those areas? Or are they supposed to be the entrances to the raids? I would love it if some day there were branching paths that you could travel on. Maybe even a map that fills out as you explore.
Oh, and better popup blocker also prevented me from doing a soft reset, it seems. Perhaps an in-game confirmation message would be preferable to a browser-based one. (The message that pops up saying "Hey, are you sure you want to do this?")
Finally! For a long time, clicking on the developer log or reddit buttons did nothing and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out the better popup blocker extension was blocking it, despite allowing this page. I had to turn it off entirely to get it to work. I would really appreciate it (and hopefully others would as well,) if you could put a link to them in the description or on your profile? There's a link to your website, but the only link I can find there lead to this page, not the dev log or the reddit.
Every time I look at the "Abandoned Mountains" level, I can't help but think there's some secret hidden under that trap door or in the well or on that bookshelf. Maybe I've just been staring at that screen for too long, but I think it might be neat to have some interactivity with the map that occasionally nets you some money or even just gives you something to play with while your guys farm. I don't know if you've ever seen people play Hearthstone, but I'm thinking of the buildings on the corners that you can mess with.
I'm sure this has been reported already, but the button to change farming zones stays when you go into the arena or dungeons (I've only noticed the minus, but the plus is presumably there as well.) In the case of dungeons, you can just click the "view raid map" button to get back, but the "view arena" button doesn't seem to work.
I do enjoy my raiders pushing each other around, but it's causing problems for combat. I would like my warriors to be up front, but they keep pushing the priests and archers right up against the enemies, especially in the arena where they run back and forth. A simple fix would be to let them walk through each other. Perhaps archers shouldn't be able to attack at close range or will back up if they're too close to an enemy. The healers kinda have to go where the raiders are, so it makes sense for them to ignore the enemies if they're trying to heal, but maybe make it so they back up a little between heals?
I want to check the developer log but the button doesn't seem to do anything for me. Is it supposed to open something up in-game? If not, could you put a link in the description or something?
Could we get a way to buy only selected upgrades? Perhaps right clicking on an upgrade would select it or deselect it and there could be a button next to the upgrade cheapest button to upgrade them. I don't want to be wasting money on overkill power when I never actually click.
I always go back to the light gem to farm up the top-tier gems, but it lags *really* bad when my pick automines at like 1k per second. Perhaps instead of actually calculating the drops 1k times per second, you could cap it (at like 100 or 500 ticks per second,) and do some fancy math to calculate the average drops?
Sorry to be spamming your comments, but I've just figured out that the area I can't interact with is the exact size of the games/achievements/my kong drop-down tabs at the top of the page. Could this be related to the game taking control while the tab is down? Opening one of the tabs and letting it close seems to fix the problem. I'm gonna try reproducing this on another game and I'll let you know what happens.
