What is the point of the Thieves Challenge? I literally can't make any money at all, and it doesn't even really explain what the goal is or what the reward for completion is.

I tried clearing my Unity cache and the game still crashes. That didn't work.

Ok, hang on. I clicked to "reclaim" my gems and now I have less gems than I did before? This seems wrong. I had 60 and now I have 53.
