Second, the only difficult part of the game are the 4 first levels, after that, you get the flamethrower which is actually enough to pass all the other levels first try. You get some other pretty nice weapons, but the only that can compare to that one is the flamelauncher (guess why xD) that you get after level 12.
Seriously, had to do level 3 a dozen of times to get pass it. A good strategy for the first levels is to collect all food, always shoot the barrels to kill the zombies in front of you (trying to get into the explosion radius as many zombies as possible) while you focus the rest of the bullets in killing the ones behind. You can ignore the antidotes until you get the flamethrower.
Two things to have into account when playing the game, especially if frustrated and about to quit.
First, you need to know that the hitbox of the guy is actually all the guy's sprite, this meaning that you have to not use the character's feet as the reference for his distance to zombies, distance doesn't matter, if you sprite touches the zombie sprite, you are getting hurt (this means that if you want to get behind a zombie group, it's better if you do it passing above the zombie rather than under the zombie, this way you "protect" your head). You must also have this into account when collecting stuff, if you feet pass just above the object, you won't collect it, but you can actually collect the object "with your head", so it's better to try to collect an item from under the object.
To get the first level in 6 turns you have to NOT conquer Europe in the first turn. Go for Middle East with 5 troops and leave the rest somewhere next to Ukraine to conquer it the next turn (but advance from Middle East to India as a priority). If you get stopped at Indonesia you'll have to do it again. You should be able to complete it in a couple tries. @blackpenman
The strongest team with no legendaries and all different monsters is Blazern (dragon), Bellodia (bee), Argale (bird), Bravion (red wolf/lion).
Except Bravion, you can get the other three in the first area (their preevolutions, I mean), so this is a team you can get pretty easily.
Of course that is only valid if you have them trained to the max, but I can assure you that I have completed 5-star side-quest only using the max-trained Blazern.
I don't know if there is a more optimum way of having a stable reactor when working with pairs of Quadruple Dolorium Cells (red ones) than having 167 Ultimate Reactor Plating; but if there is one, I can't see it.
Being in this situation, I'm quite scared of what having a pair of Quadruple Nefestium Cells looks like. D:
What about some further explanation on how the damage formula works? (In the tutorial, maybe?) Although I have the "Eye of Endurance" I'm unable to know how much damage I'll do. Also, I would like to know about the elemental damage sistem, just to know how good one item is over another.
Be carefull when buying upgrades for your ship, if you can buy a +10 hull and a +15 hull, that means that if you buy both you'll only get a +15 hull not a +25 as you may think. You should only buy only the best one and then the worst one will be automatically unavaiable to buy.
Just a tip to win the lord: use melee weapons and anti-melee armor. He has a more powerful melee weapon (750 dmg) than the best one you can buy at this point (500 dmg) so you will need the armor; he also has an anti-bow armor (195 def) with a low protection agains melee (40 def), so it's really difficult to win him using the bow. Hope it helps! (at least until more people comment and this message will get thrown off the "most recent" posts xD)
Susan: Hey, lets go through the river!
Fred: But it goes through the graveyard! It will be plenty of zombies there!
Susan: Don't worry, there are less zombies in a graveyard than in a f****ing small town mall, for sure!!
Fred: ....
