Not that the game needs any more nerfs right now but the attributes from bosses have the potential of getting out of hand, every other source of attributes has diminishing returns due to increasing costs but the boss ones while slow to gain are already making a good dent in my totals after less than a day.
Maybe cap them to (max level reached/killed)*(whatever multiplier feels right for balance)
Or make it so a level 42 boss can only raise its stat to 42*(whatever multiplier)
I did a couple test runs and it turns out the leveling changes broke the game.
I've got a very offensive build which makes it so i one shot every enemy I encounter right up to the point they kill me, so with that getting further into the game should never be a bad thing, I'm not slowing down so why should my RP gains slow down right?
But I just did a run with stealth and mana shield and one without and the one where I try to die faster gives roughly a third more RP per minute.
That means that and defensive skills we level actually weaken us in terms of RP per minute and those are non refundable.
Getting further in the game should only ever be a bad thing if it takes too much resting to get there.
I never did the overnight farming but the one idle mode run I did felt like a waste of time before and the nerf to it affected active speedruns immensely, that and the fact that movement speed got nerfed hard too, not sure if that's intended or some wires got crossed while converting from pixels per frame to pixels per second. Time to grind up Marathon Runner again. Mana shield nerf makes it nothing more than a stronger preventative heal, making the heal spell utterly useless at any level now.
Also frustrating that just as autocast gets added it needs to get turned off regularly to make sure health regen (teensy as it is) is kept busy for efficiency.
I'd prefer the old shield mechanic nerfed to whatever level you find appropriate instead.
Mana shield doesn't block nearly as much as it should at high levels.
Right now it I'm a Lvl33 mana shield and 264 mana power and blocking 59.
Tooltip says 42% which means it should be blocking 110 damage per hit.
The difference gets even larger with larger stats but stuff happens too fast then to take notes.
It is still pretty good so maybe you meant to nerf the shield but forgot to update the tooltip?
Heal gets zero benefit from leveling since not only do you lose precision having to heal large chunks at once it actually gets less mana efficient.
If possible when you implement autocasting could you make it so you never fall to unblessed stats, it wreaks havoc on resource pools.

Don't get discouraged at the huge point difference btw, the levels repeat after a while so it becomes a matter of endurance more than skill at that point.
@F7_FRenrir @sydor I love how you two underestimate the cloning meanwhile I'm filling 10 blocks on zoom 9 in two hours instead of the FIFTY THOUSAND YEARS it would take without cloning. That time frame is rounded down by the way.
I tried I really did, missing the monday badge hurts me since it will forever show in the date i earned the kongpanion.
But despite starting at rank 2, no doubt from a previous identical experience, I just can't keep going knowing I will have to play at least three more turns.
Kongregate please stop this bullshit.
Really love this game, the replay value is through the roof.

Finally got the 10000 combo achievement and finished my last missions soon after.
Gonna be a slow, anticlimactic ending to the achievements though since I only need the 20/30/50/100 daily quests now.
To anyone worrying about how long it takes to gather gold, just keep practicing and prioritize maintaining your combo over getting powerups or an extra kill.
The gold gained from long combos soon gets pretty crazy with the first place record holder of 44842 getting 2 MILLION. (C500-390G/C1000-1265G/C2000-4515G/C5000-25250G/C10000-102515G)
Would have really liked the option to skip the slow early stages, they're tedious and make me lose my rhythm.
Currently stuck with a youtube advertisement for Lotus, the game doesn't detect it as watched even after the whole 2 minute video and there's now way to skip it to get to other ads or the free gem every 2 hours.
The double effect when maxing out a builing in Midaeum doesn't seem to work.
Also any chance you could add a function to trade loot types, at a 3-2 or 2-1 ratio if needed, in order to make up for how Mideaum now uses far more of the left raid loot types than the right?
I've got 7-45-192-226-418 currently which means about 800 are being wasted.
Focused on levelling constitution to 10 and immediately went to kill the dragon after that.
Only had a quest to open the mines that had been cleared from goblins for some reason and the limbs keep respawning.
Pretty anticlimactic.
I like how the difficulty depends on your play style, personally i had no trouble finishing the game on my first try without knowing what was coming and quite quickly too but i can see how someone can unknowingly f*** themselves over in the first half.
Stage 265, shop items have an average sell price above 100.
Used an autoclicker to spam buy them and sell the junk.
The super crit modifiers (x% chance to do xx00% damage) turned out to be the solution to the massive lag from the tesla bow/battery combo.
Currently i'm at a combined 13% chance to do 6100% damage.
The stage names didn't properly display in my previous comment because it resembles code probably.
It is equals sign, smaller then symbol, increasing number starting at 1, greater then symbol, equals sign.
