I’ve discovered another universe, but whenever I try to view it, it loads some of it, but it doesn’t load the planet, and the GUI doesn’t seem to recognize that I’m not viewing The Existence anymore.
Helixteus II is doing this weird thing where once I complete a battle, it pops up 2 of those after-battle messages, only the second one will refuse to close.
The game directly modifies save files as you are playing the game, so the files are being modified constantly and if that gets interrupted, the save file get corrupt.

I can still progress but it is a lot slower because it takes around 3 tries to get a working save, and when I save the game freezes, becoming unresponsive and requiring me to force quit safari. is there a way to convert the saves into a .plist or anything I can make sense of? I want to be able to compare the corrupted saves to the working ones and maybe find the cause
and it isn’t force quitting safari that does it I tried giving it 10 minutes to do its thing and it was still corrupted whole another time it got a working save it seconds

To help reduce lag, you can right click, click “More game settings” and stop animations. You can also increase the “Tile update speed” to something like 1000 milliseconds to help with the lag.

Ohh yes, it’s not actually a bug though, it’s a timeout that happens when your save file gets too big. I’ll extend the timeout and upload. Your save should be fine if you haven’t touched the save file…

whatever you do, don’t rename your save file or open your backup. I’m not sure which one did it for me, but it buggered my account and i can’t play anymore

If there’s ever going to be a Helixteus 3, it won’t be made in Flash but in UE4 and will be released on Steam. If you guys want a 3D version of the game with twists and changes I can absolutely work on it!
