Like everyone else has already said, the game seemed terrible with the intro and description, but man, I *loved* it. I was smiling and enjoying myself shortly after and was extremely saddened when I realized it was over. Amazing work. I don't think I've ever felt this attached to video game characters before (or, at least not often).
For everyone who's having trouble hitting the enemies: You need to use the up and down arrow keys (not WASD) to move your character up and down the lane. Please vote up so more people will actually be able to play the game.
I found another heart in "The City." It's located on the level with one fish, one human with the gun, three moving platforms, and the hint "jump across the floating platforms and head right." The heart is located behind the man with the gun.
I highly suggest getting a tank to bullet sponge for you. Buy the heavy helmet, heavy armor, med module, light boots, no backpack (you need the AP), the hammer, and fill your inventory with medkits (and optionally a tool). This will give one of your soldiers 120 health, 55% bullet damage reduction, and 80% melee damage reduction. Make sure to kill ranged enemies first (since you take more damage from them than from hammers) and to have your tank in melee range of the surviving ranged enemies so they will resort to melee.
Okay, took me a bit, but I beat it.
How to win: Move your mouse around until you get "perfect" white. Once you do, text will automatically flow up the screen. You'll know it when you see it. In the beginning of the game, your thoughts mention "pixel perfect" alignments. That means, for the thousands of pixels on that screen, your cursor has to land on THE ONE pixel. It helps if you go to settings in your computer and set your mouse to the slowest setting. Overall, great game, but perhaps a little difficult. Frustration replaced emotion as I played, but I like how you worded the directions in the introduction.
**Spoiler Alert**
Hunter becomes the hunted. Now who could have thought of that? Oh, wait a minute. To name a few, there's "The Most Dangerous Game,""The Hunger Games,""Jumanji," and, more or less, "Resident Evil 3." The ending was essentially unsurprising due to bored-hunter-looking-for-harder-challenge-and-therefore-resorting-to-homicide being a common theme in literature, movies, and games. All in all, ending was way too obvious.
Voidbringer Slayer Guide: Make sure you have 300+ mana potions. Head to top of screen (where the Voidbringer is) and attack it from there. That'll lure the Voidbringer farthest away from the Void Spirits. If a Void Spirit is spawned at the bottom portal, kill it quickly with any and all skills. Then focus on killing Void of Mind and Void of Body's. Voidbringer should be your lowest priority. Too many minions can kill your tank quickly and killing Void Spirits keeps the Voidbringer unable to heal.
For those stuck on the "helping hand" part, simply remember that the only other people you've met are those nice villagers. They're apparently stupid and cannot find food for themselves, so wait until a warmer season and find wheat. Plant the wheat near the village and wait. You'll notice the houses beginning to turn from dirt shacks to nice homes with roofs. You'll also notice bridges being built. Wait until one is built near the part you need to get across.
In response to Muffins, the second mission has Tucker warn Yurik that you cannot fire onto ground troops entrenched in the new terrain, "canyon." In response to Joverla, my strategy was making short stops along the way to Durand's main spider outpost. At every barricade, I would destroy any spider tanks coming at me with mortar tank, the annihilator tank, or the flak tank. The rocket tank is actually ineffective against the spider tanks. Then I would use my rocket tank to destroy the barricade as the spider tanks approached. If my tanks were badly damaged, they would be fixed. The spider outpost eventually runs out of funding and cannot send any more spider tanks for a while. Use this vital time of relative peace to advance. A better place to hold up, if you want to camp, is at the bottom-left corner of the map. This area offers more space so you don't have to deal with the sudden spider attacks from the mountain range. Good luck.
I'm not sure what you're planning to do with the levels or the exp, but you can easily gain exp by just dumping water while flying on the water. But otherwise, I love the speedometer and interface. I felt like a real fire-plane! :)
thats great, when there is sound it will be even better, It is my goal to bring the Initial attack fire fighting experience to the every day person as seen by a 15 year veteran I.A. Fire Ranger, later the helicopters will be in use as well with heli-bucket attachment plus later a I.A. Ground crew hover exit scenario. The exp will be used for upgrades or to acquire the helicopter heli-bucket unit , the S.O.S.S. unit and the heli-TAC I.A.Fire Ranger crew.
Thanks for the comment!!
