Going back to completing some earlier levels (5, 6, 10, 11) to earn silver/gold medal tier scores has been a frustrating try after try (for some, 5+ with little score improvement, if at all); chalking it up to the upgrades you pick. For eg.., maxing truck discounts are probably more advantageous for this purpose, as opposed to maxing new plant discounts <-TIP :p
Not sure if it's my comp/browser setup but I've been stuck in era 5 jellyfish planet for nearly a week now and just reset to a different planet out of frustration. Gr. This is my 3rd reset. Am I not making the right upgrade/project choices???
The only potential pitfall large enough i can think of is not buying enough items. I suppose it could take a week+ if playing very idle without enough achievements, though.
Era 5 projects are unrealistically high! Idk about others, but I enter the era with about 300m RP and 50mish LP, so the projects' costs are way too steep. Same goes for upgrades after the first few, imo.
Maybe just me, but I find the bonus clicks for LP don't scale as well/high as RP. For e.g., 2.5LP vs 62.5RP (when things like upgrades cost heaps in LP).
