interesting game. it plays nicely and it's relatively easy to pick up and put down and come back to thanks to the simple controls and myriad of checkpoints.....but it's also frustrating as heck because it's basically "oops i messed up i need to redo that part again" a thousand times, but progress is fairly easy since theres so many checkpoints. the music is nice and the scenery is also pretty good. havent finished it yet but i assume the ending isnt all that....understandable based on the comments so its a solid 4/5
i dont really like how most things are keyboard-controlled but then certain things are only mouse-controlled. there should be hotkeys for other things, or otherwise allow mouse to be used all the time. it's awkward to have to switch back and forth between using they keyboard and the mouse, especially when movement is done with the arrow keys (which isn't helpful for right handed people) and other stuff is conltroled by QWEASD (which is awkward for left handed people)
such a simple yet fun and interesting game with a new mechanic. excited to see some more levels at some point. the ending screen was kind of disappointing, especially since im pretty sure that was a dragon roar? owo
The only wonderful thing, here, is the great support you gave us! :) We're SO glad you liked our game to the end. We hope we'll be able to give you another adventure to like that much in the future. Thank you and have a wonderful life!
love this series. challenging but not infuriating. i like that we get a chance to be able to try different things and not completely start the game over even if we die.
This is a really good game. Decent difficulty spike, many interesting and exciting takes on the same simple game, unlockable stuff, and PLENTY of levels to choose from. A really nice time killer. 5/5
I said I'd never come back to this game again, but part of me did actually enjoy it back then. But having come back to it after all that time, it's just as frustrating as it was before.
I still have the same critiques. There is still far too much of a randomness element; for many levels it's pretty much impossible to complete unless there's luck in the initial set-up to get that first spell. It's not a matter of skill in those cases; the level order doesn't reflect difficulty at all despite the addition of mechanics later on.
But other than that, some things I wish this had were that 1) the game ended once you got all the stars after completing all the objectives, so you don't have to just click to get the extra moves, and 2) it would be nice to have some sort of score tracker so you could see your top scores in each level.
This is pretty fun, but the complete lack of music makes it kind of dull. Also that very beginning of the first level is VERY slow and boring. Other than that I'm enjoying this. I like the management/currency systems, and it's fun to work on the strategy of placing the zombies :)
Lovely game! Tragically short, though. I really like how the canons can actually help by destroying walls or barrels to clear the way! Challenging yet also simple. I wish there were more levels :)
"explained in game" there is literally no explanation as far as i am aware. yes it might be more or less obvious, but it's really poor taste to not have any sort of instruction on what to do and leave the player to assume everything, even for a relatively simple and relaxing game. What bothers me most is that the description on the side says that instructions are "explained in game" and they're not.
There is a help button next to the mute button that helps you understand primary colors. We've also added some better instructions in the instructions tab. Thank you for playing the game and giving us feedback. Sorry for the inconvenience!
A very simple and decent yet entertaining game. It works for what it is. It could use a bit more variety and challenge but it's nice as is. An easy 5/5
There's a horrible problem where if you click off the game, and press space, it just scrolls down the page. Clicking literally anywhere on the game does nothing to bring focus back to the game (even if you press the mute button or try to buy something), and that makes the game unplayable and you have to refresh the page. Also, it's incredibly tedious to only get money from deaths, and thus as the top comment says, it's more profitable to rack up money by dying rather than trying to play. It's interesting in theory but you didn't execute this particularly well. only a 3/5 from me.
The full version of this game (Super Endless Migration) was never finished, and the money given to the kickstarter was never refunded, nor did the creator(s) ever explain to their fans/backers what the situation was. It's such a shame. It seems like this would have made a fantastic game, and it seems the full version will never be released.
