As an rpg I really like this game. I think it provides that extra bit of story that Tyrant was missing. I just want to point out, though, that I play rpgs hoping to get engrossed in the story and the game. That's really difficult to do with your +1 energy per minute cap. Think about it this way, how long would you stick with a book (even a very good one) if you had to stop reading and twiddle your thumbs for ten minutes after every paragraph?
So, I haven't played this game in a while, but did the update address healing/regaining health points? That was the most frustrating thing for me, not being able to regain health.
From everything I've read healing happens automatically when you enter/ leave a town OR when you wait up to five minutes in a town, leave and accept the first battle offered to you. I've tried both of these (repeatedly) and been mowed down (repeatedly)
Otherwise a very fun game, with some fun trading and an interesting upgrade system for transportation.
One of those dangerously frusterating, oddly addicting games I have a love/hate(/hate/hate/love) relationship with. I do viciously hate designers who don't make a mute button completely obvious, though =(
