Space, space, space... Give me an option to move in to bigger apartment early on. A lion's share of things to be done and studied are depending on me having a certain furniture in my living space, and that space is very limited. It's frustrating having to buy and sell stuff, because I seem to be an imbecile who can't write, read or draw things if I don't have a specific table in front of me.
I'm on a day 20 and something... I think... It's so slow at this point that I lost track. This is a nice game. No micro transactions, no need to worry over jealous neighbor trampling my crop and this is truly casual. So far so good. Keep up the good work.
Then the bad. Game is slow as heck once it really gets going. I do like casual and idle, but I still would like something else to do while I wait for funds to grow. One solution could be a bank? I could choose to spend earnings to upgrades or save it for later use, since often I find myself in a situation where I have a hefty sum saved, but not nearly enough for the next upgrade. Or a mini game of investments? I'd lend out leftover funds for one of the villagers, they'd use it to purchase ingredients or advertisements, and depending of their success I'd get my money back with possible bonus added to it?
Is there a way to reset my progress? I'm fed up with my current game and layout and gazillion unfinished buildings/tasks which I most likely won't be able to complete. I'd like a fresh start. Is it possible?
There's work to be done here. You give instructions for movement and attack for buttons that just aren't there, zombies pose no real challenge and overall the game feels too linear. There's no real freedom of choice when upgrading and purchasing products. There seems to be no real difference between weapons. Needs lots of work before you can call this good and finished game.
Not all is bad. It's a bit clunky construction, but I love the clear look of it. No pixelated mess but a cartoon instead. Good choice.
I played this game on mobile few years back. I quit because of the idiotic energy consumption and frankly, quite frustrating and unfair forced PVP. Both clear signs that I was supposed to shovel loads of money to a game that was entertaining, but something I could replace with a genuinely free game within an instant. I'm giving this a try here, hoping that game developers truly listen their customers and shift the theme of this thing more towards a game that I can play instead of them expecting me to hand out my piggybank for privilege to be annoyed because "the game" is forcing me to do things that I don't want to do.
So... This is an old game? And still at beta stage? ...okay... Not bad, but there's so much to do, all this tinkering and twiddling, upgrade this, upgrade that, wait for minutes or hours. Not bad way to spend my time until I remember reading about "protection period" or something. So other players can actually attack my city? I haven't read the official forum threads yet, but from what I have gathered from the comments and the game itself, I'd have to keep paying a small fortune every week just to keep my city safe and on top of that I'd have to find the time to forge weapons, train armies and upgrade everything and raise a dragon... Everything sounded nice until I realized that some army can wipe out my city. I guess I'll see in a few days if this is worth the effort to play free.
I tried this game when it was first released. Stumbled upon this now, and I'm a bit puzzled... First day I was searching for survivors, as well as repairing fortifications and looking for weapons. I found no weapons or survivors, yet one person was lost during my hunt. After this I was unable to move which caused my death since zombies were able to plow through my barricade quite easily. They all piled up as if on purpose to "protect" one or two who kept tearing down my fort.
Is this a glitch, or just terrible stroke of bad luck? It's as if my character didn't really get lost during that first day, but got his feet eaten off or his ankles broken.
