Game itself is enjoyable but the 'randomized screen shaking' is horrible. It doesn't increase the sense of realism as much as it makes folks prone to motion sickness ill.
That zoom is set to the mouse-wheel is kind of annoying -- would much prefer a slider or something in the window. Maybe it's my browser, but one moment I'm zooming in game, and the next my browser window's scrolling.
I wasn't saying that the time between rounds wasn't sufficient -- just that the next wave is automatically sent if all mobs are dead. I'd rather have that "earned" time available to me to look at things, rather than having everything be a frantic race to keep from having leaks -- leaks which end up killing the fun factor when you lose lives for something stupid.
I rather wish they'd left "automatically start next round" as an option, not a default. I prefer using those seconds to rebuild things, rather than having to run around frantically trying to get things set before the next hurdle comes.
Half of what makes a good TD a good TD is being able to take the time you need to get your strategies right.
Yeah ak, I know what you mean...I've been trying to get through the last few levels of the challenge (up to 38m and gotten stuck). I tried a few "trial" runs of different designs, and gotten weird results. For instance, while I was testing the holding capacity of a design, I was able to put only so much on it...then I tried repeating the results on the right side. I was able to repeat it, but suddenly the right side started falling -- as if what was happening on one side effected the other, even though they were totally unconnected to one another.
