I love the design iterations this game has gone through... it's gotten better and better and better and I've had a blast playing it each step of the way!
gahh... got to level 80ish with nearly 300k and i got into this crazy narrow tower with monsters everyoe breaking the 1-time-step tiles and knocking me into locking rooms. Crazy shit. So much fun, but soooo frustrating!
I learned something important from this game. If 100% of the world is infected with a parasite which causes hemorrhaging and pulmonary edemas, and every hospital in the world is shut down, no one will die. House must be a terrible doctor those pulmonary edema patients die.
And hate to double post, but I would like to just say I just finished "The Friendly Robot" with only 3 kills. Could have done 0 if I thought of my trick early enough, but the 3 were dead before I learned how to save them XD
Hint: If you really want to do it with few kills, just hit a monster so he falls off the edge your trying to walk across, then kill yourself before he dies. You can also use this trick better once you get the whistle. Just kit and whistle before they die.
Doh! I ran through the game without reading achievements. Then I ran through the game with "The Friendly Robot" in mind, but I misread it to be "Die less then 40 times" so I did that. And then I realized my fallacy. Fine... I love this game more then I love saltwater taffy, so I'll do it again for that badge ^^
I kept hearing the Protoss "Upgrade Complete" voice clip running through my head! I found myself saying it about a bazillion times during this game, which I played exactly 1561 seconds according to the timer. ^^ Epic little game which showed a game doesn't have to be as hard as Battletoads to be awesome!
Great twist on a tower defense game! The different land system is wonderful, and the enemies are tough (Oh, how I despise the Ninja Champion)! Hotkeys would be useful, and a skill reset that costs exp or something would be appreciated.
Lastly, I can't wait for a sequal, and maybe (if you care to be as epically awesome as I already think you are for making this game) a map creator! Imagine being able to design your own maps, I have a feeling it would catch on.
Rad ending song. Him standing there reminds me of my Megaman days of old, and this was almost as reward as finally killing that f'ing rock monster (the yellow devil) in Megaman 1!

That took forever... by level 35, i just started using scrolls, cuz everything was so evil... I beat the lvl 50 boss without any of the stats or armor from 35 to 50
Swaintastic – Note that your highest grade/lowest death count for each level is considered separately across trials. Acorn collectors, keep this in mind for 2-2! No need to lose your sanity!
WOOT for hard badges gotten without a guide!
I just made my 2 cleric, 2 hunter party on hardcore... the corruptor was demolished without a problem! The second he copied my guys... double arrow shower, and it was pretty much all wrapped up. Debating whether or not to go for the Hardest of Core Badge. Its not worth 60 points... but i wanna the among the hardest of core... just like getting all the awards on Amorphous +... its just something you've gotta do.
(By the way, start weeding out the damage reflection gear by like level 5/6, or the Corruptor clones will more or less insta kill any AOEer)
im thinking the "never gonna let you down badge" should either be made easier, or set to impossible... Cuz i got 83% of the notes, got every yellow on that was played, got the yellow mania note while i was purpled so i got ever one that it spout out, and i got that combo early in the song, and I never hit a red.... and i still didnt get the badge, only got to 4.7 mil
I hope there are updates to add spells and characters and even maps (other than squares) or modes. Just tossing ideas out there... this could be polished into a more balanced, fun game ^^
