Heya all, if you wanna get the easy badge, just collect 100 levels of the Magic Rune, then open Settings and press Save Game to synchronize with Kong and earn the achieve. Just got it that way.
If your screen is also larger than the browser window - switch to fullscreen in the settings panel as soon as the game loads.
Be advised - the game will not store your progress, unless you have an account on their site, so try to get the badges in one go. Good luck.
It's a fun chill game resembling a few games on FB from few years ago. I like that it emphasizes cooperation between players and not griefing others for scraps, like many other p2w junk titles do on Kong. A few improvements would be welcome however - optimized gift sending system to facilitate sending gifts to all friends, and indicator for friends you can still visit and help for the day, which can help schedule your help for later when their crops/animals are ready, so you can be more useful to them.
A merge-oriented game with severe predatory mechanics and progression curve slower than a snail's pace. Highly suspicious competitive modes. Incredibly poor choice for a badge of the day this week as well. Any potential for entertainment is quickly diminished by the prevalent interruptions of gameplay by adverts.
Surprisingly entertaining game that stimulates and rewards smart play. Players need to adapt to the random situation and consider their decisions carefully. I can applaud that.
Tournament mode is a nifty idea where you can make it far with skill, and need some extra luck to win big.
Multiple growth mechanics that allow deeper progress and don't feel like a chore. Only the equipment management feels a little clumsy, trying to find the best items for your best towers can get boring after a while.
Overall, a rare 5/5 from me, glad to see there are still enjoyable games featured on Kong.
There's gotta be a special place in hell for whoever designed those badges... The game's not a bad concept, but poorly balanced, and it quickly becomes obnoxiously obvious the only viable ways of progression are p2w/botting/nolifing through it.
A very chill game with neat retro feel to it. Brought me back to the good old days of point and click adventure classics. Nice work.
Gotta like the subtle irony about zombies using their brains to solve mysteries too. Defo fun to play.
Plot twist: The farmers were carriers of a mind-altering virus that turns people into submissive wimps who adore the aliens and give them all their stuff for free and the Alien's mission was to protect them from the military who tried hard to contain the situation. Subsequently the human race was contaminated and the alien forces took over without losses. Ha!
I find it funny how the intro presents a badass-supernatural-hunter type of protagonist...and later that turns out to be a guy who barely dodges a secretary, nearly gets arrested by his former boss, uses another girl to spill a drink on a dangerous character(and risk enraging him), and finally just lifts a few blinds. Kinda anticlimactic
Still enjoyed the game, the Max Payne atmosphere, and the Eastern Europan setting tho.
I've obtained impossible badges for much less effort and in far shorter time than getting this medium one here...
P2W means an unbalanced game product which after a while loses stabilty to the point where new players will have a lot of hard time if they are not
extremely lucky. And pray they don't get careless with the few free resources provided as regrinding those would take ages.
Thanks for reminding me of the great times I had with TopGear2(a game very similar to this one) back in the 90s. For a couple of hours it really brought my childhood back and am grateful for that. Also, excellent work with the photographic backdrops.
Fun fact younger players might be unaware of: Stage 15 "Battle city" is named after the hit NES game of the same name. The level design also resembles the first stage of said game. Kudos to the devs for putting up the easter egg. Shows they've been playing for a while.
With "Parting gift"(does 1 damage to enemy portal for every unit of yours killed), or Kamikaze(2 damage), the game is very easy to beat without even trying. You only need to keep spawning cheap units and you're done. Just try to get a hold of 2 or 3 cards of this type, since on highest difficulties enemies might overenchant yours. You can use that strategy to get badges easily, or to pass enemies on hardest levels if you're stuck. Good luck and enjoy.
Thanks for your amazing review :). I'm glad you're enjoying the game!
