Great game. But for those that are just starting another new game, the achievements make it quite troublesome because after the first game, there isn't a need for a tutorial so players may go way ahead of the achievements which causes it to lag behind and mess up the game.
Just some tips for those beginning this game: In the character creation screen, decrease all your intelligence points and increase your Accuracy to 7, Agility to 8 and the rest on Strength. Strength affects your hp and is the only this in the game that cannot be improves throughout the course of the game. And the first thing you do when you enter a different town is to refill your water. Second thing you do is to check your ammo supplies. If you find that you're halfway through the desert without any ammo and five robbers attack you, you might as well be gone. Another a last word of advice is to know that after a while, trading around the starting three towns becomes non-profitable. But don't leave that area until you have at least 20k and a hired man.
Found a small glitch. Don't what caused it but when I returned to an area which I had previously visited, I found a white empty patch. Can move on it, doesn't do anything. But looks ugly as hell.
Tip: Your entire caravan travels at the speed of the slowest mode of transport. Eg. If you have, in your caravan, a donkey and a horse, it will move at the donkey's rate of speed. To travel in the horses speed, you have to have the same amount of people and the same amount of horses and no other animal slower.
Frequently Asked Questions from the average Newbie:
1) Q: How do I save? A: It auto saves. You don't need (and can't) to do it manually.
2) Q: How do I sell units? A: You can't. Once it's there, it's there for the rest of that battle.
3) Q: How did I lose my saved game then? A: You might have deleted your cookies or cleared out your cache.
4) Q: I don't have any heroes for hire! Help! A: Heroes aren't always around for hire. They'll only be up for hire if you gain better faction relations or complete quests.
5) Q: It says Leadership too low when I try to hire a hero. What do I do? A: Go to your Skill Page (Second from the top, on the side bar). Here, you will see all your achieved talents and your stats. For every hero that you want to hire, you must have (Number of heroes that you want to hire) + (Number of current heroes) eg. You have 8 heroes and you want to hire an additional of 3. Therefore you will need 11 leadership.
Glitch found. (Don't know if it's just me or others are experiencing it too)
Halfway while playing the game, our opponent shot. After the timer went from timing to waiting, it just remained there. It stayed at waiting and we couldn't have our turns. Please fix this.
A different style of gameplay from the rest of your games which I enjoy. Finally, not the same thing all over again. But I must admit that the gameplay is a bit too repetitive. And the graphics look as if you used Paint to create them. But it isn't bad, just need a bit of tuning.
I would have to say it is a slight despair that there isn't a mute button (Other than the one one our own computers). But nevertheless, it's no reason to be complaining about not being able to listen to music. So what? If you're gonna complain about this game, then just don't play it.
Innkeeper: My busssinessssss is booming! That Sssave Crysstal over there can heal all ailmentsss in a flasssh of light, ssso I did away with sssleeping roomsss entirely! Mardek: But the save crystal is free to use. You aren't earning any money.
Innkeeper:... WHAT?!?!
The sick delusional nostalgia of quavery denominations of the ingenious of this trilogy has set me aback and has forced my to admit that the loveliness of the gameplay.
It's like reading a good Dan Brown book (Sorry for those who don't know him) [And I'm not trying to involve the religious stuff, hey it's just fiction, so don't get angry (Not to say that any of you get angry, all of your are great!)] and then suddenly reading the exciting twist and jizzing over the overwhelming ease of ecstasy, in a metaphorical way, not literally. :)
BRAVO! MAGNIFICANO! HONDA MITSUBISHI TOYOTA! (Wait a minute...)
Larry: Are you sure I'm ready for all this?
Wizard: Of course Not! You're a Nancy Boy! But with my help and guidance, you just might be able to live to see the Light of Day.
Epic.
Great artwork, awesome gameplay. Nice story (Even the ending), but it didn't make me cry. Although I wasn't quite touched by the ending it still did make me think about how brutal humans are. So from now on I'm an alien.
You got the basics and you've got a working Tower Defense. I suggest entering more maps, towers and maybe even a storyline if you'd like. Give it a proper name and add some music. Make sure you give creeps nice pictures to look at and not just red dots [Lol, how did you think of red?]. Make sure your game will run smoothly. Hope you improve it.
Did you like use paint or something to make this game? Be sure to improve graphics and get some help on ways to improve your game. Have a good concept on the game. What kind of game is this suppose to be? Tower Defense? Zombie Shooter? You know. And get your spelling right. People don't like to play games that are made by 5 year olds. Hope you improve it. Well. For now it's 0.2/5. the extra .2 for effort.
Madagascar is impossible to infect!!! Unless of course you start there. Creative game and requires a lot of thinking but a bit too impossible sometimes. I'll give it 4.2/5
