Very good horror elements building in each game. The first couple of games were so odd, very hard to follow, but the story is building and starting to make a little sense now. Very cool.
Very fun puzzles. I love the lockpick puzzle. It does take a little bit of reasoning, but not too hard. It is definitely too short, as soon as you get hooked on the story, it's over. It's a great second part to an interesting story, so far.
We try to make the puzzles unique instead of just cookie-cutter. Sometimes that means stumbling a bit, but hopefully most of the times they are interesting and fresh. As for the story, once the entire game (all six chapters) is out, it should flow from one to the next. Most importantly, there will be no long periods of waiting between chapters :)
I'd agree with ktomp. Block becomes negligible fairly quickly. Without housing structures, coordination becomes an unusable upgrade. As the game creator suggests, game balance gets thrown off relatively quickly, however, as far as idle games go, it does offer a lot of active play options, and has a great, easy to follow layout.
Found that occasionally game allows you to go into negative score, requiring restart. Would love to see this with more levels, and maybe a unique path to evolve, depending on creatures eaten.
Since the newest patch, be prepared to refresh, refresh, refresh. There is a phenomenal amount of lag and the game often freezes, especially in full screen mode. This usually requires a force quit of the browser. I'm an experienced user, and have done all the tricks to help speed things up, however it's not user end issues. The game is bugged and they haven't fixed it yet.
Game seems a bit on the glitchy side. I've done a few levels only to be forced to leave because a boss did not populate. During level ups, if I'm attacked again, I'm often forced to refresh. Get ready to refresh your browser a lot with this one.
The largest difficulty with the game is the number of bugs and the high game lag. There are often times when I die, and don't know why, or am unable to steer my ship correctly because of delays or lag jumping. I'm hoping that this is being addressed, but until then, I'm dropping my rating of the game. Great idea, execution is still a little choppy.
