I'm enjoying watch this game improve, good work so far. I think the parts system could do with more tweaking, however. I know we have autocrafting, but sometimes I want to "reserve" some mythril, say 1000 rivets, for later use, but the 1/5/25 or 10%/25%/Max options make this a bit tricky to do.
I wanted to love it, but I can't, I can only like it. Too short, too easy are the obvious downsides, but it's more than that that is wrong with this game. It feels contrived, it feels put together like a bad movie sequel, like the developer didn't care enough about the product and just wanted another title to his portfolio.
It doesn't matter if it's triple A or free flash, a sequel has to continue the high level of quality or you turn people off. I'll await 4, but not as eagerly.
I hate football, I'm not very good at it, but this game seems really comprehensive, and very, very clever.
The really big problem, as has been mentioned before, is that there is very little help, or even explanation, on how and what to do.
How does the training work?
How much difference does changing tactics make, especially when changing mid game?
What's the deal with Youth and reserve teams?
How can I make my young players improve to reach their potential?
Obviously a lot of thought and development has gone in to this to make it include a lot of real world elements, but if the player is not inside the devs head, there is no smooth way to climb the learning curve. Saying that, I'm happy to keep giving feedback to support development.
Why not have an option to add your own team in?
Needs looking at the balance of the characters.
The warrior stays alive longest, but does little damage, so you are left watching his slow death. His sword upgrades are very expensive for little bonus. 2% of 50 is 1 (example sword at cave 10)
The cleric has limited use, but dies too quickly to be of value. Consider adding Mantle earlier.
The archer seems to be OK for now.
Resource gathering is still unbalanced, too slow, making more huts is painful. Gather faster, or make huts less expensive.
Battle spells too weak for their total cost (spell factories, making each spell etc).
Would be happy to discuss further. Making progress so slow will just turn off otherwise interested (and interesting and possibly useful) players.
I got shoved into a corner by a scorpion, and even though I killed it, I was stuck there. Picked up the MP5 or whatever it is, it looks like it's pointing in the air. Zombies jumping out of empty rooms that I cleared moments ago, not fun. It looks like you've put some assets in an engine, there isn't really much game there, certainly no depth.
This is really, really bad. What the hell is a skill stop? Why is the pusher all but invisible? What are the XP levels all about? Why did I waste my time on this?
The descriptions of the unlocks for Newspaper stand Unlocks at the 200 to 400 range are confusing and inconsistent. It is unclear if they upgrade newspapers or other items. This is in the Gallery too.
Sorry, this was not supposed to happen. Ocurred only once or several times?
