Updated a few things based off your feedback. Thanks for helping find issues! Changes: Fixed shrapnel mode appearing unlocked when it isn't. Story+ and Story++ now drop more metal. The timer on story mode now stops as soon as the boss dies. Fixed achievement descriptions for secret mode achievements.

Updated with autofire (press F to toggle it), and fixed the issue that was causing the menu tooltips to not align with your mouse position correctly. Please let me know if you find other issues! And if anyone else has the issue where the game hangs when losing focus, please send me any info you can to help me track it down. Thanks for the feedback!

Amazing game. It's like a 3d version of helicopter, but better! I think the music fits it perfectly (until it starts going really fast and then the music feels dreamy as if it's way too slow). Now all I need is a much bigger mousepad...

Hi guys, I managed to fix at least one of the issues that was causing the game to crash when you tried to click continue. Please let me know if you experience crashing still (when the version on the title screen says 1.02). If so, please email me your .sol file! I also fixed the issue with the last 5 hearts not showing up or counting, and the issue where you can't escape the bottom right after getting the black key if you don't have enough jump orbs. Thanks for all the bug reports! I still haven't been able to reproduce the map issue (my map always saves), so I haven't been able to track down what is causing that yet, but hopefully soon. :)

Thanks for the great comments guys. Based on your feedback, I've made the following changes/fixes: Deaths count correctly, Speed orb typo fixed, Fixed inability to charge spells after level 80, Damage now scales much faster with level, Spinners are now vulnerable to all spells after level 60, Blocks are now killable after level 40, Fixed shock being displayed as gust. I have not yet been able to reproduce the crashing or the world map resetting when you load your game, so I've been unable to fix them. Still working on tracking down the problem though.

I appreciate all the comments guys! Some of you may compare it to diamond hollow 2, but you have to realize that a game like dh2 that I put a lot of time into is going to be in a different league than a game I made for a weekend competition. However these competitions are helpful both to my skills and to play around with interesting ideas (dh2 only exists because I made diamond hollow for this same competition). Also it's very similar because I wanted to play around with the same genre so I could test some ideas I had for dh3. And while I appreciate all your comments I completely understand if this isnt your cup of tea. I also realize some of you are having problems with the map not saving (and other issues) and I'm going to see if there is anything I can do about those as soon as possible. :)

Some new fixes and changes: Fixed bug where you could skip bosses in boss mode, fixed two achievements having the same name, fixed turning debug mode on by clicking the corner, lowered tadpole mode hit box size, increased drop/fly speed of player in tadpole mode, speed no longer increases when run mode or tadpole mode are paused, and the hud now says distance in run/tadpole modes. You should see the update soon (v1.16 in the corner). Enjoy!

I just uploaded an update with a few changes that you should see soon: Fixed freeze bug (if you click at the top of the screen), added story speed run times to high score board (sum of chapter times), fixed completion time and boss mode high scores, and decreased enemy spawn rate and speed in tadpole mode (so it's more fun and less frustrating). Thanks for the bug reports guys! The total survival time achievements were only using the first 4 maps, but I've fixed it to use all 8 instead. Also, weapons were indeed not giving stats like intended, but I've fixed that. Also in regards to the armor/defense of equipment, armor and defense are two separate things, which is why you don't see the increase in your defense stats. Your armor is listed on the hero panel right next to your weapon damage. Thanks for the reports, and feel free to report any other problems you see!

Fun! I love the graphical style, and everything down to the light effect on the ball looks very good. Being able to click the buttons rather than just balls would definitely be nice (thought it froze for a second trying to go back to the menu). And displaying the crystals on the main menu would be cool too (I'm not sure if they do anything yet). Also, it seemed harder to hit the fire than to roll by it. Overall very fun though. :)

Hi guys. I've updated it with a few more changes suggested by you guys. The plants are no longer harmful to touch, just their bullets (which should help with jumping into them when they are off screen). Also, the hit box for the player is much smaller now, no more getting knocked back because a bullet graces your hair. And finally, you can now pause and unpause to the upgrade menu using escape or P, so you can restart or spend your diamonds without having to kill yourself now. And to those interested in the music, there's some text on the title screen that links to the artist's page for the song if you click it. :)

I just made a few minor changes to help out with some of the problems people have been having. I've removed the double tap controls to dash, so you shouldn't accidentally kill yourself with it anymore. I also fixed dashing when against the ceiling, and you can no longer infinitely jump against a ceiling. I've also started initial work on a sequel, where I will be free to completely redo some concepts and introduce a ton of new features in order to bring you much more engaging game. I love the suggestions you've given me already, and am definitely going to take them into consideration (and already plan to integrate a lot of them).
