Jitters, Netmonster, if you dont like this game, dont play it. Personally, it lets me take stress out. Plus, it is not making a mockery of anything. The reason games like this are made is for people to do it on something that is not thinking or anything. It does not enforce it, it provides you an alternative to doing it in real life. If this were in real life, then that would be a tragedy. But this is not controlling anything happening in some dimly lit room where some random guy is being tortured. It is PREVENTING it from happening, and I think that THAT was what the programmer was thinking when he/she was creating this game.
