Listen, I understand the nerfing, especially the power upgrades. I can't say I deem it necessary, but I can understand it if the developer did.
What really sits bad with me though is the change that no longer makes the two different research sets that work for the mine to no longer work together with each other. previously, my motivation to continue to click came largely from the fact that i knew it boosted my gps tremendously, but now i just sort of don't get that motivation anymore. Not that it's not balanced or anything, just that it feels... lackuster for me to boost my gps by manual labor knowing that it's not actually calculated into the base equation.
And For future reference, my tip to you, the developer, would be to plan out the balance of the game just A BIT more before you release it. people don't really mind if you alter the stats of the game a few procent here and there, but if you go all out like you've done here people will be upset.
There are very much I would like to add to this game in the future. It includes quadrillion, quintillion and sextillion challenges. Passive artifacts. Global achievements. Challenges, based on time rather than on quantity of gold (ex.: get as much gold as possible in 5 minutes of run). Seasonal events. And every update will be accompanied by huge rebalances. Some skills will be boosted and some will be nerfed. Some will be probably even deleted. The only reason I do this - is to make game as much fun as possible.
The mine is still one of the most powerful buildings in the game. Even after nerf.
I will put it simply. I do not enjoy these nerfs. There is literally nothing that has been boosted, but the power upgrades have almost no power not compared to before (how ironic), and as the two different sets of researches that work for the mine no longer work together I have lost my motivation to try and boost my production using clicks.
