That had to be the most enjoyable point and click game I've ever played on Kong. The atmosphere was very tense and foreboding, and the jump scares were used sparingly enough that they never lost their spark throughout the game. I loved how the ambient music suddenly swelled during each of the scares in the game, and I was surprised that a game with 8-bit graphics could instill as much fear in me as this game did. Also, the action-oriented escape sections were a nice change of pace from the constant puzzling of most point and click games. If there was anything I didn't like about this game, it'd be that because of the 8-bit graphics, it was hard to make out items and such in the dark areas at times. The game is also very short, though a sequel seems obvious. Overall, I think this is a great point and click game with a chilling atmosphere, the right amount of horror, even more mystery, and unique gameplay, leaving me with a desire to find out - and experience - what happens next. - 4/5
Small glitch I noticed: If you set your volume and brightness BEFORE starting a new game, it sets them back to their defaults once you start. Of course, this isn't too big of a deal, as you can just set them again after you've started the game, but it's still a bug nonetheless - albeit a small one.
To be honest, at the moment, calling this a sequel and making it a separate game seems a bit unnecessary to me, as the changes (Well, more like additions, honestly) I've seen so far aren't any more major than any of the updates that have happened in the past. Did you make it a separate game just to get more ratings and plays, or what? Because that's what it seems like to me.
I don't want to assume that this is the case, but as it stands, that seems to be so, as this is "sequel" seems to be nothing more than a very, VERY glorified update.
This game was simply made to make a strong, humorous point, so it's not really something to be critiqued, as the intention of it wasn't to be a real game.
So, based on the reason that it was made and not on the quality of the "game," it gets a 5 from me.
The concept of this game is very interesting, but the way it was handled just didn't sit well with me. I can get past the mindless point and click puzzles, but the cartoonish nature of the game didn't mix well at all with the grim music and dark concept, and that is really what ruined the game for me. I think it would have worked a lot better had the presentation been equally as dark as the concept, but instead, it feels like a combination of vastly different game ingredients that work well by themselves but should have never been put together.
tl;dr: This game is just a great concept that could have been so much more, in my opinion.
@Cedar210 For the same reasons people get banned from every MMORPG (Breaking the rules).
@SteelScorpion That's just how the market works. It's the same in real life.
