How to beat the Stage Six Boss! Upvote to keep it in the comments!
The only way to put the boss into recovery mode is to his him with the third hid of your combo. Ideally, you use the first strike to close distance, and hit him with the second, to make him stagger, before sending him into recovery mode with the third. The first time, immediately release your power attack or else you'll miss the window. After that, you want to charge your power attack for as long as possible (till timer is at about 20 seconds) before releasing it for maximum damage.
Ideally, you want to sit out of the range of his follow up attacks after his spin attack, then dash in and use the above combo as many times as possible in quick succession to prevent him from spinning again. Usually you can get your first combo in before he spins his sword if you're lucky.
The last level creeps up on you. You think you're going to meet up with Jack later, and then the screen clears. Suddenly, you realize that you recognize this level, it's just the same from Jacks memories. But what is there to do?
Sometimes, life doesn't give you a way out.
247 Days in game time to finish the enforcers quest line, amass one million gold, and conquer every city on the map. Plus this if you think this is an actual accomplishment, or post your own record/achievements to prove me wrong.
Its interesting, a little like a cross between risk and empire earth. But one thing, the combat controls seriously suck. Its not only hard to select the unit you want, but half the time you get the squad when you want one man or vice versa. Plus your units will just walk in a straight line until you tell them otherwise. Don't they have a tracking mechanic or something?
Other than that this gave is just plain challenging, its hard to get on your feet to begin with because the AI start with troops and you don't but that just adds to the fun. Its incredibly hard to build up units in you border provinces, more often then not they get taken out and you just wasted a bunch a gold. I don't like that part, but it's realistic. Take that in turn with that fact that when you get a big army, the AI's will compensate by buffing up their provinces. Quite often they'll even outstrip you and invade the province you were building up in. So yeah, this game takes a lot of getting used to.
so freaking disturbing, I don't know why I like this so much. The last scene was a nice touch, to bad you can't mutate the man too, but that would also me a really effing creepy ending
so the dutch tulip eaters built a giant evil portal from the underworld right next door to you in the giant graveyard, because that makes perfect sence
all in all the actual combat gamplay is a rather simple platform shooter, i've seen dozens like it (shootorial for example) and i hated all of them.
but somehow, through the magic of realistic and down to earth characters, a simple but immensly interesting storyline, in depth upgrades (not to metion moduals) funny quotes, badass upgrades, did i mention the amazing character, this game has exceeded my every wish and expectation. On a scale of 1-5 this game is a solid 6 maybe 7.
And last of all i love how you start on Home Planet :)
the very complicated and in depth combat system is a huge step forward from the previous game, which was good anyway. I also love the fact that all the basic magics can be trained to the same level, instead of having some that you can't train depending on what clan you pick. a solid 5/5
hey guys I just spent 3 years in a cave to get mana before even ending the tutorial. Yay, now I have to spend another half year in that cave everytime I want to increase my skills. Is the old mage dead yet?
