To beat the Desert: Talk to barkeeper, Get the beer (click on it when its in front of you), After that look into your Box of Tricks and click on that "Quest" with the Drunken guy... read the thing in the bottom of the screen. Now you should know where to go in the desert.
if you press rapidly A by picking up a jar you will trow it more then only 1 time :D
so you can get much off mony, arrows and bombs (entered secount island instantly bought heart container, helmet and turso armore :D)
