Stuck at 50% on loading screen now. Before that: buying geen leather / cotton gave blue one instead. Most green cotton objects actually used the leather one instead. Would be good to have a longer customer list as at some point it's always full.
only played against bots so far, and it is not clear if both players are choosing cards simultaneously or if bot plays after human (if it's not simultaneous then being the starting player is quite a big disadvantage)
A move is done synchronously and only when both players have made a choice. The higher your level, the more chances to fight with another player (not a bot)
Not sure why this game is rated so low. This is very similar to red alert although a bit more simple. Missions have the right level of difficulty so far, not too easy and not too hard.
Game art is nice. I like battle mechanics as well. AI could be improved at the lower levels. It's much better later on. Match making is a bit flaky, regularly facing opponents with cards having 3 points of stats higher than mine. It's more or less fine when playing vs AI but against players knowing what they are doing even a slight difference in stats makes a big impact. Also once reaching Diamond pvp field is a desert with opponent finding taking more than 10 minutes regularly. But the biggest problem is the amount of game breaking bugs present. Looks like it was barely tested, which is a bit strange considering it was supposedly released on other gaming platforms first.
Thanks so much, for the detailed review and your bug reports. We made a bunch of a progress in game code fixing, thanks to them. The game paradigm shifted too much before we came out with current variant of battle system and skills, that's why there were so much bugs. Hope we'll improve in future. As for now there are few players in diamond league. (those who managed to play it through despite all the bugs). Very nice game. It would be nice if game mechanics were explained somewhere. Attack is damage dealt by unit when it is attacker. Defense is damage dealt by unit when it is defender. Armor reduces damage received by unit, it works both in attack and in defense. Archers can shoot once per turn on adjacent tile without taking damage back.
Won on day 51. If you stay on same castle level for too long (~30 days) people start leaving due to stagnation. So try to upgrade castle once a bit before day 30 then only upgrade castle again once you reach 500 army size so that you can win fights.
There is an annoying bug that happens sometimes when you have 10 units on field, you disband one but then you can't place new units on field this turn: dragging and dropping it does nothing. Happened twice to me already.
Game freezes sometimes: I am still able to move character but zombies don't move and I can't kill them, only option is to quit and restart. Jacqueline seems difficult to play on last stage even fully upgraded. When I stwitched to Miguel with Guitar it was much easier.
Game looks cool for an alpha, but I don't really understand why copying pokemon when I guess you could create your own game instead based on similar concept.
There is something wrong with the economy at the moment. Unless I missed something, just building raw resource extractors and energy plant to support them, you are actually losing resources.
Definitely more fun with the possibility to go at higher levels by getting 3 stars, currently at lvl52. The building of collection to get more heroes feels a bit slow with free play but first hero is strong enough to deal with most levels so far. I just wonder why the doors at lvl37 and 48 are not a one time fee.
We heard your complain and updated the game: Now you just need to have 3 Stars in all the levels to play for free forever. It’s a bit challenging, but at least you are not compelled to pay. We hope you will be happier and give the game another try (maybe give us a better review?).
This game is fun, but there a feel there is very little incentive to do multiplayer. After a while I don't get any mily coins anymore, so it just gives exp / milky coins to other people's bosses and I get nothing back.
