So shooting stars are hedgehogs dying a horribly brutal death as they explode into flames as they re-enter Earth's atmosphere? . . . okay, good to know.
Sorry but this game was no fun--pointless, boring, and repetitive. The zombies didn't do anything and didn't even scream when killed. Boost was a bust--didn't help at all. The gun ran out of ammo too quick and there was no blood splatter (who makes a zombie game without blood splatter?). Fuel economy sucked and upgrading the tranie was pointless since the driver apparently didn't even know how drive a stick and shift gears. Played to the end just to get the badge of the day.
This was a fun game but I was hoping to see more cut scenes after the first couple of levels because they were so amusing. The Lucrea character is funny - - I love her blatant greed and "humbleness."
Good game but somewhat anti-climactic ending - - nothing really happened other than you escape; nothing at all is ever explained like where was I, what were the monsters, who was the shopkeeper and why did he never try to help me (just wanted my money). Felt like I was just exploited as a creature exterminator. And the shopkeeper never even offered me so much as a hamburger - - I was starving!
The stats are baloney. The flight duration was way off - - I counted the seconds and the stats never showed more than 3 secs no matter how long I flew and the rockets didn't work at all.
To beat the boss, you just need to focus on shooting the boss continuously and setting some mines off in his mouth. I let a million zombies through and didn't die before I killed him and I still didn't die.
Once I got the homing missile leader & hom. mis. allies things got fairly easy - - I just stayed at or near the top of the screen and the missiles would launch to where the offscreen enemies were before they could shoot and it gave me a heads up of where to lead my platoon; if they were cars or choppers coming in mass, I could just back up a little to where I was in front of them & blast them before they can do great harm. Once you have the majority of upgrades it also makes for an easy time blasting through - - missiles & armor seem to be among the most helpful - - after I got the armor (HP increase) my squad was pretty safe. Would have gone for the last "hard" badge but didn't have time to play anymore and games don't save on my mac for some reason. A fun little game but kind of laggy (the squad couldn't keep up with where I moved my cursor).
**SPOILER ALERT** Jeez, it took me forever to get to ending A's sad ending; I feel kind of bad for the A. But now I think I can figure out what ending B is - - it must obviously be the other choice . . . here I go again then . . . .
The controls on this game are horrible! The aimer doesn't keep up with the pointer arrow and there is terrible lag-time. On my PC it refused to let me go past the "tutorial completion" note.
The controls on this "effing" game are so touchy. Until i figured out that you only need 2 keys - - one to steer it and one to make it accelerate, it nearly drove me "effing " crazy . . . or is that the "effing" idea . . . hmmmm. Effing worms! : - )
