@jas11262010, have you played Creeper World? It has a similar gameplay. Less focused on upgrades, as I recall, and more on expansion. And it's levels, rather than ever-escalating survival mode.
Minor bug that's been bugging me for a while: When you return from the Upgrades tab to the reactor, the Pause/Play and Faster/Normal buttons are in the Pause and Faster states, regardless of what state the game is in. So if you're in fast mode and pause the game, then go to the Upgrades tab to, for instance, upgrade your heat cells, when you come back it's still paused and in fast mode, but clicking each button once only brings the button in line with the game state. The second click actually unpauses/unfastmodes. Very minor, but consistently irritating.
So the auto-sell doesn't sell consumable items, which would make some sense, since potions and rezzes work the same regardless of their level, but when you set the auto-sell level fairly high, your inventory fills up with rez books before you find more than a handful of high-level items. So maybe some kind of a checkbox to enable auto-selling consumables, too?
Could use a "suicide" or "town portal" button. When you're auto raiding and you come back to the game, it might be a long time before your heroes die and you can switch them to a different dungeon.
It was actually not possible for me :( I did that game on my own, re-using assets from our previous games, and (this is a shame) we have only the Soulette as a female character. Adding playable female character (and more female in general) is in top priority for the sequel.
I love that you don't have to do a map for every level to avoid missing upgrades. (Maybe it's been that way all along, but I just noticed it recently.) But the backlogged upgrades seem to be dropping in the wrong order sometimes. When you have, for instance, a greatsword, a breastplate, a shield, a dagger, and a boot upgrade waiting for you, I would think it should drop the greatsword first. It's the "lowest" upgrade. Instead, it drops the shield upgrade first, presumably because it's the "earliest". I wound up with level 3 daggers and level 1 greatswords for a while because of this. It doesn't make a huge difference, but it bugged me, so I thought I'd let you know.
Feature request: When I'm using the multibuy button instead of Ctrl and Shift, let me cycle through multibuy options with Ctrl. That way I can mouseover something I want to buy, cycle over to BuyMAX, see how many of them are on offer, then cycle back to Buy10 and buy the amount I want without bankrupting myself.
Lovely game. One area for improvement: There was a startling lack of Viktorias. No mention of the brave warrior women who paved the way for their family.
There should be a Nerdook tag. I didn't recognize the art style in the thumbnail, so I was going to skip this game. If I'd known it was a Nerdook title, I'd've played it immediately.
