Apparently there seems to be an error in Dark Knight (DK) calculation - at 100 Goldmines I receive the same amount of gold (~10k) with 160 DKs as I did with 40 DKs
The more dark knights you have at reset, the stronger the effect. Try to let them build up for a while before you reset! Small values do apply, but sometimes get rounded off by the formula if they are too small! Hint: Thousands of DKs are better than hundreds! ;)
We actually considered that in production and thought it might clutter the interface, but we have rethought that position and will be working percentages in. Thank you for the suggestion.
Also, yes it does calculate offline. Catherine will pop up a message when you return telling you how many troops and how much gold you gained while away!
Make that 2 marks for dark knight %. Queen Catherine says MAKE IT SO! And so it shall be! As soon as the zoom bug affecting some players is solved, that is! We want to grow this thing. the world is not enough for Catherine von Conqueror the Fourth, she must have ALL of Kongregate as well!
Update 2.0.1 makes the switch between the Cash and AI upgrade screens seem like it's merely some kind of icon in the top-left. This needs to be improved, otherwise newer players may not discover this
Got to say - I don't just love how often the devs answer to comments, but they also handle each bug report insanely fast and try their best to help – cheers to that!
Based on this last 14th(ish) upgrade I would really love to see: "Buy All Money Upgrades"/"Buy All Angel Upgrades"/"Buy All Upgrades" buttons. The first few minuts after a reset I'm occupied with buying upgrades rather than buying my beloved lemonade stands :(
I'd love to see a display of money per second both for all businesses and for each single business (all in settings, each one maybe even beneath the bars)
