My biggest critique is that I wish the regions were random. I don't want to have to get through the same relatively boring region to reach the much more interesting ones later. The game would retain my interest better if there was more randomness to it.
Neat concept, but I can't be the only person bored to tears with all these Portal knock-offs, can I? Come up with an original setting; even no real setting at all, just gameplay, would have been better than this trite overused sigh-inducing Portalesque setting. But hey, well designed and fun. Just infinitely irritating with the unfunny cake and testing references.
@Encube You said it much better than I could have. This is no more than an unoriginal copy of a great game, pretending to be clever, but in reality soulless and cheap.
I wonder if half of teh Internets even knows what SOPA/PIPA do. The message here is heavy handed, extreme, and misses the point about SOPA. This is comprised entirely of new creative material put up by its creator (or in the case of the song, with the consent of the rights-holder I assume). SOPA does not mean an end to free speech or protest, it means an end to using someone else's material in a way they don't like. It's a bad bill, but not at ALL like what is represented here.
Everyone is right about the armor. Not only are you larger, it seems like every "better" armor actually makes you worse, including the armor upgrades in the Stuff category. I would look at the way you programed the armor instead of writing us all off. You seemed to have made a mistake.
This game is unplayable for me. I'm having huge problems with the notes and the beats not even coming close to arriving at the right time in synch with the music. Since, being a musician, I listen for the beat to help me play rhythm games, I actually do better playing on mute than listening along. When that happens, you have made a bad game. 1/5
When I saw you could enter a code to receive 200 coins I thought "Oh great, yet another game trying to squeeze money out of the gullible." I was pleasantly surprised. I love BigDino!
I encountered a fun glitch. Every once in a while when you set a zombie on fire, it will rapidly cycle through all of the possible zombie sprites as it burns to death. Please don't fix this.
I never thought I would like a game mechanic like this, but there is enough depth in this game that it kept me engrossed all the way through a hard playthrough. Very well done. 5/5
Check out our new gameplay video - the regions won't be nearly as boring in the finished product :)
