Glitch: On the underwater boss level right after you destroy the last spaceship and before the boss appears, open the upgrade menu and change weapons. Then when you close the upgrade menu it counts the stage as being completed without fighting the boss...
So.... I beat the game before the badge was added. Simply continuing and going through the ending again doesn't give me credit for the badge. Its a great game but I don't feel like playing through it again.
