hi Ava I just wanted you to know that I had been away to help my brother who works at a new job and my sister in law also who works with my mom who needs me and us with her rehab. She had not been doing as well and needed much encouragement. It is a full time job as I found out. lol Sadly, a several days after I was there getting her out to activities ..Bingo..Bowling.. cheering her on in rehab.. making her not go back to bed but stay up sitting to get stronger. We went to the puzzle room etc. I noticed she was not using her left hand properly, mom said she was in a fog, she failed clothes folding in OT, she forgot the method of put the walker out ..step to the middle but not past the line. in PT. I told the Aide she was not acting right. She told the nurse who did not come, ..Aide asked if she came I said no she again told the nurse who came and only took her vitals and said she was fine. for 2 days this went on ..My brother/SIL went in at night and got the same routine but she said no I live with her she is not OK. the next day when we arrived they had sent her to the hospital for a stroke. Not calling my brother who lives in Florida first on the list then calling my home phone in NJ but I am in FLORIDA. so impossible not only did she have a mini strike but she also had a Urinary tract infection. What really upsets me is they did not listen to me the person who was with her 8 hours a day. I never saw a Doctor . they only have nurse pract. and nurses there who call the Doctor. Mom asked for her pillow and we went back and took all of her stuff out. While we liked the rehab therapists as well as the clients and the activities. the medical personel left much to be desired unless you have absolutely no medical issues. thanks for letting me vent . I hope you are having a nice summer!

Ava, my mom is not doing well and my brother who she has been living with since we stopped sharing her care (mom was warmer in Florida, closer to an old friend she could visit, more independent as they both work, out more at a music club etc) my brother has a new job, she has her sodium dropping problems, wants him to fix the rehab problems and he has a new grandchild and a daughter who has big phycological problems who had that child. Mom is 89. long story but I need to go down there for a few weeks to try to help July 27-August 16 so if you do not see me you will know that I have not dropped off the face of the Kongregrate earth lol. My sweet hubby will take over our Sunday school class and Scouts night time while a new leader is coming on who will handle the daytime until I get back. People are so very kind. I really hope that I can get to the bottom of the problem for mom, because she is very sharp for a person her age, loves to cook, does crosswords albeit not as complicated as she used to do.
thanks for all of your visits I was so tired today I did your corn . I was helping my husband help our older friend restore the wood on his deck with benches and those rail things. I will never put built in benches on a deck too many little nooks to redo … and it needs 2 coats ..but he just cannot do these things himself so what would a good frie…

He has no family. We love him like family. Oh and Day Camp for Scouts went great again this year too!

I’m sorry we have been missing each other. I have been really sleepy lately. thanks for feeding my yaks but you can always do my peach trees. I had a problem with new players just running in and clicking on one piece of debris

Great to see you, All in all I made 28 neckerchiefs 3 Cub Master ones for the 3 that were there, 20 for the scouts, and 5 as gifts for leaders who were there also. We rolled the neckerchiefs and has the car slides ready when the boys signed in so they could wear them for the entire derby. Some of the Cubs even came back at the end to ask if they…

We rolled the neckerchiefs and has the car slides ready when the boys signed in so they could wear them for the entire derby. Some of the Cubs even came back at the end to ask if they were supposed to give them back to us not realizing that they were a gift for them. The derby went well!

I made slides out of clip clothes pins half of them makes one car with paint pens and a pipe cleaner makes the loop for the neckerchief to go through. We decided on 3 trophies for speed but are having the scouts choose the 3 best cars as a scouts choice award at the three levels so I woodburned those too. It makes it fun and keeps the costs low. It gives the boys the responsibility of choice also. We do not like everyone getting trophies for everything. this is why my visits have not been perfect this week

And I remember the pinewood derby, my dad helped with the cars, he build one of his own and i made one following his example, third place. But his car looked cooler. Fun times. Have A Goo Day :).
Ava thanks for visiting my Orchard as well as always being able to be seen! I really love the way you move around in the peaches because it seems to be helping to gain more output of peaches! If it helps at your place I am hoping that is true for you too.
thanks Ava I arrived late but still had a nice reward. Doing a Scout night tonight. We are planning our 3 pack, they are small, Day camp for summer for late June on Thursday morning. I hope that still doing your Orchard is what you want. If it is not please let me know. Forging says that you get more peaches by grooming the trees.
