I just ran into a treasure box that required 5 blue blocks but only had 4 blue blocks on the grid. Only 3 of which could actually be grouped together and collected. WTF!?
After refreshing the page the lag went away. Since it seems to occur on random fights, according to the other comments, I wonder if it's a memory leak that accumulates.
I think a further way to sort what loot gets kept would be handy. For instance, I only want to keep Swords and Daggers. That way when I come back I have a selection of gear I'm actually interested in.
I'm having problems with some of the awards. The Claim 20 Walls and the Reach floor 50 haven't updated for me. I'm not sure if I've claimed 20 furniture yet, but if I haven't I don't have that one either.
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I keep missing exactly 1 ship on Frenetic on the last level. I've done that at least a dozen times now. Can we get a running counter of (ships killed/ships so far) so I can tell when I miss it or something? I watch my screen like a hawk and I kill EVERYTHING. It's getting rather frustrating.
Can't quite figure out how to beat the Extra Mission 8. Fire guy keeps going forward with his attack and not returning to his spot. Meaning my units end up being behind him. And that he slaughters my pathetically weak hero before I even get him to 50%.
I think the save game data reset with the update. However, the achievements did not. I lost my skill point from one of the achievements on my save file. Solvable by creating a new save game, but just thought I'd point it out.
I kept getting pwned by pairs of bombs that straddled my position. Maybe a faster move rate but also increase the bomb drop rate. It makes me think of what Avalanche would be like upside down. A good start. If you make some tweaks and stuff I see myself agreeing with minme in that this could be quiet addictive to play.
To start, props on your first game.
I like:
The scrolling, it made the game seem more open
The fast pace, took me a second to figure things out, but it never let up
The fact that it got to the point that I died, even on Normal
There's some polishing that could always be done, but as far as fitting into the category of scrolling space shooters, this was pretty alright. I don't know if this incarnation is a possible building block for a -great- game, but it's a good foot in the door for a new creator. I salute an enabler of my procrastination and thank you for your time.
Sounds like specific fights are triggering the lagdown, let me check it out via Scout
