We've received word today from our server hosting providers that they need to perform maintenance on the servers that our games run on. For each time listed below the game will be offline for anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how long it takes them to complete the update. Aviator was offline for 6mins for a server upgrade
At 11pm Pacific time, we were offline for about 6 mins to upgrade the Aviator servers. Sorry for the inconvenience.
UPDATE: *Free* *Repairs* *Automatically* when you fly into a city with a Workshop in it.
Thanks to all the players who gave feedback on the negative effect of Repair. Now I doubt you'll ever have to repair your planes again. You should be able to play uninterrupted.
But now I need your help. If you gave the game a low rating because you didn't like the Repair system - please adjust your rating (up). Thanks!

Major Update released: (29th Aug 2014)
(1) The repair point recovery rate for all planes has been increased: some by 50%, others by more than double. Also the Maximum Integrity for each plane has been raised by 50% for all planes so a fully repaired plane will take you a lot further. Don't forget, you can sometimes find free Repair Kits in the Mystery packages in the Depot.
(2) I've reduced all real-time waits in quests to 5 minutes or less, for all 6 regions of the globe.
(3) In each region, I now hide the two premium planes (the FW200 and the DC4) from the Workshop until the requisite level is met. This stops people jumping to the best plane too early and missing out on the proper progression through the plane models.
These changes stem from a lot of great feedback I've collected from the K+ guys and gals, for which I'm really grateful. The game is not perfect yet, but it's now a lot better thanks to your input.

Thanks to everyone for the great comments and suggestions. I've fixed the bug with Flight Certs. and Repair Kits disappearing so that's for helping me catch that one. And I'm determined to solve the repair problem, either by having it able to be repaired with in-game currency, or speeding up the idle repair time, or just making planes more durable. I'll decide on the best option in the next day or two so keep the suggestions coming. Cheers.
