Also, if your response contains the word 'Discord', you dont understand game design. Please dont tell me to go to Discord to learn all about this overly complex browser game I'm trying to play casually and for fun.
This game is curled up in a ball crying in the corner for tool tips. I dont understand anything I'm doing, what results from what I'm doing, and why I hit a wall at maze 7/level 38. I simply cannot progress no matter what I do. I employ good tactics, get ahead in fights against the towers, but on the last hit where I should kill it, it kills me instead. I'm effectively blocked from advancing any further. Like someone else said, there is...maybe...a good game here. But so so sooooo many thing have been added to this game without any thought to explaining what they are that it's now a mess that will take a year just to tool tip. You should have build out completely ONE part at a time before adding the next. This is just a mess and I'm frustrated and done.
The game just plain cheats. Double clicking or dragging cards has to be one of the dumbest mechanics I've ever seen in a game like this where the computer opponent is flawlessly fast...far faster than you could ever click and drag a card. If this was a turn based game or it had better mechanics...and if the devs had the sense to realize that the computer is always going to be faster than the players...it *might* be a little better. You had a great idea, but everything went downhill from there.
Hi. Thanks for your feedback. The game could be frustrating at the beginning it is true but we took this decision deliberately and added real time reactions along with card mechanics to simulate the chaos of a real mma fight, where it is not enough to know your strategy but also to adapt and react properly under pressure. We are well aware that for some player, current speed is too fast and we are going to add 3 speed options - normal, slow and fast (yes, we also have complains that some player think the game is too slow for them ;) - so it is hard to satisfy all but with this option we will provide more customization.
As for the AI, it is not so tough right now but we plan to make it learn from your game style (not your, personal but from other players as a group) which should make it much more challenging than it is now. And yes, its reactions are faster but your planning is way above its skills for sure.
Thanks again, and we hope you will enjoy the game while it is evolving.
Also, the dev seems really dense. Most of the dev responses contain phrases like, "What exactly do you mean..", "maybe you can explain...", and they are a bit combative. If you want to know exactly what I mean by that, I mean your responses seem like you don't understand a thing any of us are writing. This is a pay to win game. You can say it isn't, but when you want money for everything...healing injured players? Refreshing the market? Please...you've set the game up so that all you see is the opportunity to spend money to get ahead...or just stay viable. I hardly ever comment on Kongregate, but I am really sick of this kind of shit and I'm slowly losing interest in coming here because of devs like this. I also don't rate games very often, but I'll make another exception here. 1/5
This is a really good game, so it's a shame I'm not going to play it anymore. First of all, you folks are some of the worse money grubbers here. You really think you are LESS of a pay to win game than others? You want money for EVERYTHING. I can't even look at new players to recruit without paying some creds. But that isn't the worst part of this game. The coding is terrible and it crashes constantly. This would be a good little management game if you didn't try to gouge money out of every goddamn mouse click and if the game ran without problems. Congrats on creating a good game. Unfortunately you've ruined it with the Kamicash system and the technical problems.
