For once, I played a game choosing options I would realistically choose in that scenario (e.g. clicking accept without reading terms and conditions), and the end was still satisfying. I like that! :)
So... to beat the game, you don't actually need to build up your academy. You just need 4 level 30s. The game even lines it up for you neatly by only giving you 4 routes to go - a paly, two DPS, and a healer. The final boss takes out your paly but doesn't even get close to the last two DPS, and there you are - game over. Kind of bums me out after I spent so much time building up my academy, thinking I needed any of it. :/
I didn't find this 'hard' badge too hard. I tended to just go with one of each on each side and two saws toward the end. Threw all my upgrades in the main towers, then saws, then evenly on all the others. I only used the eye when I got bombarded, and I had no issue beating all the levels the first try around with almost no damage. Sort of easy for a tower defense game, although I found the concept refreshing.
Half my hotel is high capacity elevators. Guests: "More elevators!"
Fine. Ignore my bowling alleys, my pools, my restaurants, my arcades, my discos, and ride up and down the damn elevators. *throws arms up*
I got into certain aspects of this story - particularly the ones where the dialogue was shorter. Although I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks the story of this game isn't in proportion to the gameplay. It should balance out. :/ If I want to read a book, I have a few on my shelf I'd rather read.
I'm typing this comment as I've been waiting over 30 seconds now... 45... 1 minute... for my penguin to die, as it is trapped in a corner and refuses to move out of it. Still have quite a bit of my life bar left. I might go spend the time I'm waiting playing another game.
I think I've played too many of these games. Every time Prudence comes in, I'm already trying to prepare the type of hot dog I know she's going to want.
And if she's here, what's happening to the poor souls trying to order pancakes? *scratches head*
Also, if you're having to 'farm' money, you're not playing the game correctly. Don't waste your time buying all the units in the beginning. In the earlier stages, it's actually less efficient the more you have because they're spread out, and you have to wait more turns to get back to the one closest to the enemies at times. Upgrade them to be accurate, and pick powerful weapons. Play through the game, then go back to get the few you haven't got par on. The developers have done an incredible job making it so that you don't have to grind.
