@Rowanthepreacher Games should be entertaining, but they should also be able to teach you something about the world or maybe about life. I'd like to see more games like this that are much longer. In fact, I'd like to see a game as long as both Sonny games combined that still teach the player something.
I agree with some of the comments I've seen that say this is the path to adulthood. When it asks if you are a man or a woman and gives you boy or girl as your name for the rest of the game it suggests that your character is only a child. (Though I see no point in man=girl woman=boy) As you go down the path of obeying the voice (or as some have guessed your parents) you learn more about the world and this helps make things easier, however you seem to lose sight of the beauty (colour) in things. By following the path of disobeying the voice you add beauty and entertainment to your life but it also makes things more difficult and confusing. As stated by Alex6015, it seems the middle path is truly the best. Though you add detail to the world and understand it, you also add beauty and wonder to it, and in the end you still succeed and claim your prize. (In my opinion the coin represents succeeding in achieving your goal in life.)
