It is really creative and provides a nice twist on the standard works of the genre.
First of all, nearly everything has the feeling of being overpowered. When you get your first elemental hammer, you ride a good 10 levels without your tree coming remotely close to being in danger. When things do start getting tougher, you're given the Mjolnir hammer, which pwns anything and everything until the very end of the game. But at that point, everything else is upgraded as well.
tldr: Weapons/Upgrades are overpowered.
Second of all, the game gets extremely repetitive extremely fast. Honestly, there is no reason to continue the game after you have all of your upgrades. Either throw in a game-changer, that makes it interesting to play again, or simply end the game once there is nothing left to achieve. I stopped at level 29 because I got bored..
tldr: The game gets repetitive.
Overall, it entertained me. Good game :)
