Two things are inevitable in life: death and taxes. They're inevitable in this game too - but they can also be happy, yellow, uber, etc depending on what adjective the RNG chooses.

Protips: What this game calls a "cavi" is called a hamster in English. What this game calls "collibri" is called a hummingbird in English.

Basically, this is a multitasking game. Dodging, aiming and coin collecting are all done - or ruined - by moving the cursor, so one must balance all three priorities in real time with every move of the mouse. I can see why people would find that frustrating though, so perhaps if there were a way to retroactively reclaim expired drops, they might rate it higher - or if they were better warned of the amount of multitasking in this game. It might also suffice if there were enough health drops for the user to focus on aiming and collecting rather than dodging. Altogether, however, it is a good game, and includes some upgrades - like guided munitions and auto-collection of coins - which ease the multitasking.

Ranged units are kinda nerfed, what with not being able to shoot past eachother and all.

What manner of beasts are these? They form is apparent - their silhouettes lurk among the flames, bipedal, yet with a head not unlike that of an elephant, and certainly of grotesque proportions. How and wherefore have they wrought such destruction? From whence did they come, and why come here? What are their intentions, and why do they refuse to communicate?

BGM totally harmonizes with Pegasus Device.

Never heard the song before, but now I have. Cheers for that. You can thank Kevin Macleod of Incompetech for the music.

OMG I'm an idiot. I built up a wonderful character. Then didn't watch my health... died with FOUR health potions. FOUR! And I was even on a side-path - I could've gone back and mowed down all the mooks on the main path even if I ran out of potions. #DumbestThingIveEverDone

When it says "there's loads of different ships!", does it mean more than the 37 that are available from fighter through supercarrier classes? Is there some hidden class past that, for level 51 or higher? Or is it talking about promotional offers - like destroyer vega etc - which cost Kongregate Kredits?

Developer Reply

Hi, I think you mean Vega and Falcon, which you can buy via Kred :)

Having a respawn point that can kill you repeatedly at the framerate (depending on whether or not you die when that location is on fire) kinda makes the death count meaningless.

Queen bee shuttles can make some interesting melodies.

Their anti-de-sitter space is so much more stable than ours... they get warning before the False Vacuum Collapse. Rifts in the very fabric of the universe. Expanding slowly enough that they can prove their own doom. Our first warning will be the abrupt nonexistence of everything - including ourselves. Not much of a warning, really.

My interpretation: The last key keeps moving to a new location because the Secret to the Meaning of Life is that life is about pursuing your goals, not attaining them.

The battle theme is awesome: bringing back all my 8-bit memories from when the world revolved around Pokemon (and other Gameboy games).
